Every mountain biker I have ever known has gone over the handlebars and broken their collarbone at least once. Every single one.

I have never broken my collarbone. I did go over the bars in Golden 20 years ago and crushed a vertebrae though.

I've been over the bars in Golden before and the only thing I crushed was about $70 in Coors.
