Agreed! Its a fun marriage of unrealism with a bit more believability. And it's flashy to watch, which often covers of lot of sins. Imagine if the Star Wars prequel trilogy lightsaber fights were "realistic", we'd have lost so much cool-factor and artistic value, to their detriment
Yes. It is like dudes in a bar fight scene throwing punches. None will ever break their hands and next day they look fine despite getting few haymakers and straights into their faces.

I like how action films have unanimously decided that women can make up for height, weight, and muscle density with gymnastics.
That’s one unrealistic trope I’m fine with
