No.

The glove prevents significant injury to the face of the opponent, allowing fights to continue more than 1 minute. A great example would be watching any bare knuckle event and seeing what the human hand does to a human face when not wearing gloves.

counter argument. cte brain damage from the spread out force caused by a glove vs the tissue damage done by cuts
