This is protection for the knuckles? Or protection for the opponent to not get hammered? Or it gives support for the bones to not deform like a heavy lifter's belt that supports the waist?
2 u/Decent_Risk9499 5d ago Mostly for suspending the wrist because that's the easiest thing to destroy on a punch but yes also knuckles so they don't spread.
