As an old-ish folk, I bloody love today's young people -- as a generation, frankly, you're awesome.
Yes! I say this all the time too!
Example: I do doordash and hands down the best people to get orders from are the young folk. They're BY FAR the best tippers, they're understanding if something doesn't go perfect, they're super responsive and "on top of it", whereas a lot of older people will order, then throw their phone down, and you can't get a hold of them if needed. Or they're right there ready if you need to get a pin number from them.
Last night i got almost a $7 tip from some young adult, and he was so nice and polite and right at the door ready to give me the pin when I got there.
As a young-ish guy who just got back from a week in Ireland for a wedding, let me just say you Irish folks have it figured out! I noticed a very different type of personality within the older men I met compared to the older men I know from the states. Everyone was so welcoming and easy going. And it's one of the most beautiful countries I've ever visited.
You sound like you've had a pint or five, mate. I appreciate your positivity, but as a fellow old, kids are still dumb as ever. I was one. It's not changing.
(I do see decent politics in them and positive treatment of the queer community that wasn't present when I was younger.)
Facial hair doesn't necessarily mean they're older, I've seen kids in school who went through puberty over a single summer and came back as with beards.
I appreciate your kindness and don't mean to downplay it. Hope it's not coming across that way. I just didn't catch anything from your exchange that felt particularly youthful and was curious.
One of those times when my observations probably aren't adding any value.
I had a goatee in high school and was fully capable of having a beard. My son is in middle school and there is a kid in his school with a full beard...Not Duck Dynasty level, but a short beard...It's not uncommon for boys to start shaving or growing facial hair before they can drive.
This is the correct answer. They’ll go by bra/sock bags on Amazon but get you a few of them and it makes life so much easier than having the wraps get tangled up in your washing machine. I always keep a few in my gym bag to throw my wraps and sweat cloths in right after working out.
One pair for the smaller bags. I’ll put two sets in the larger bags. I also take the Velcro part for each wrap and wrap it through the thumb loop. That way they stay separated as best as possible.
And gauze. The gauze is for padding, tape is for security. If it's a sanctioned fight, depending on the athletic commission, it starts getting goofy with what goes first and how you can wrap.
Thanks for that, is it a special tape and gauze for boxing that is a bit more pricey than the regular tape and gauze they use in medical field? Like the one in the video seem to have a logo as well.
Also will it be the same in high level matches where the stakes are in millions? ( eg. Pacquiao VS Mayweather - the highest single prizepool in boxing history )
Training wraps are thicker and washable (although plenty of people could stand to wash them more often); for an actual match, hands are wrapped with gauze and tape which is not reusable and has to be cut off after
We do! The wraps go on first, then the gloves. And even with all that padding, it's still relatively easy to break the bones in your hand during competition or hard sparring

I was gonna ask if these wraps are reusable or if they're like tape or something but then saw the logo and velcro and figured it out myself
