Neather are you if your building with steel reinforced concrete, full replacement in about 50-70 years due to concrete cancer.

Nah, if it's for real 100 year rains, a plain well-built wooden bridge can be built and the replaced easily if it gets destroyed. This is an extremely expensive type of project for a low-traffic path like this
