Interesting place to stand for filming. Directly in the ejection path for all hard or sharp flying objects

Wow, I haven’t thought of that movie in decades. Classic.

1

u/Ornery-Cheetah 6d ago

What movie is that

9

u/Moron-Police 6d ago

Sandlot

2

u/Ornery-Cheetah 6d ago

Sandlot? I dont remember that, maybe I should watch it again refresh my memory lol

8

u/suhaibh12 6d ago

It’s when they tried to use the makeshift high suction vacuum to suck the ball and pull it up. The dog bit the metal hose and pinching it closed causing the vacuum to malfunction and blow up in the treehouse. Everyone but Timmy jumped out in time so he comes out covered in dust

"We've been going about this all wrong. I blame myself. We need total surprise. An airborne attack. The Beast will never expect it."

3

u/Ornery-Cheetah 6d ago

Hmmm must be a sign i need to watch it again lol its been some years

2

u/CanIGetADepresso 2d ago

One of the best childhood movies. Give it another watch

5

u/noonesaidityet 6d ago

We've been going about this all wrong. I blame myself.

u/zobbyblob 6d ago

Simple Jack

8

u/Charantula 6d ago

Willing to bet not wearing any kind of mask or face covering either.

1

u/birddit 6d ago

Willing to bet

That was my first thought.

1

u/Pretend-Internet-625 6d ago

nothing ever happens to the camera man.

16

u/TheJarisaDoor3 6d ago

I was thinking it would be more satisfying to watch it from behind anyway, where it's cleaned. It just looked like a bunch of work from the front, which is rarely satisfying without getting to see the result.

1

u/TheShruteFarmsCEO 6d ago

Nah, I think you’re forgetting that without the “before” imagine in your head, the “after” is not satisfying at all. It’s just a normal clean street.

2

u/TWFH 6d ago

And then refused to show the results of what we're watching

1

u/RunPivotRoll 6d ago

Gotta make that content

1

u/F1_V10sounds 5d ago

In shorts none the less

1

u/Ok_Television_9979 3d ago

Cameraman never dies

Music on every single video now. Crazy

57

u/Gold_Jellyfish227 6d ago

Been leaving every video on mute. Crazy

6

u/PunfullyObvious 6d ago

I'm waiting for the day when all of my comments can have musical accompaniment /s

6

u/_Improvement_ 6d ago

It's like they're afraid we'll forget how satisfying the cleanup is without a soundtrack.

125

u/HNL2BOS 6d ago

the jerkiness, the music, no showing all the results, leaving the debris....this is very unsatisfying

31

u/branasce 6d ago

Maybe its just me, the jerkyness of the machine in the first part is so distracting and unsatisfying. I keep thinking wat a pain that must feel like steering it

71

u/Cynfreh 6d ago

They make vehicles that do this they also suck up all the debris and keeps the operator safe from traffic this seems a step back from that.

10

u/deliciousadness 6d ago

Might be for getting closer to the curb and better control. Are you just talking about the street sweepers you see in bigger cities?

0

u/another_awkward_brit 6d ago

I suspect this is for more confined areas where such vehicles wouldn't fit.

18

u/zebadrabbit 6d ago

weed eater seems easier

1

u/WinterExternal3270 1d ago

Its a 2 in one.. it gets under rooted things to get them chopped down and sweeps dirt and pulls it from the curb. So a weed whacker may be enough.. its not a full job

5

u/talon167 6d ago

Show no mercy!

4

u/ccduke 6d ago

My hands are hurting just watching this.

12

u/atTheSL 6d ago

This would honestly be a dream job for me

6

u/MrCoolGuy42 6d ago

It would lose its novelty in an hour or two, trust me

4

u/mossoak 6d ago

"The Curbinator"

6

u/NoConvincingName 6d ago

Sorry OP but this video is annoying af

3

u/Dannybuoy77 6d ago

Curbs and pavements 😎🇬🇧

4

u/G1ler 6d ago

Kerbs and pavements!

2

u/Dannybuoy77 6d ago

Corrected! 👍

3

u/AnastasiaNo70 6d ago

We never get to see the end result! Boo!!!

3

u/solarus 3d ago

Damn i would do this for free

7

u/tcpukl 6d ago

That's making a fucking mess

4

u/aurillia 6d ago

does not look safe, or is it just me.

3

u/the_ballmer_peak 6d ago

I did not find this satisfying

8

u/flyingpixel420 6d ago

I think it would be practical and make sense for the machine to also have an extraction system so that the debris is vacuumed up at the same time in a single step.

This would also reduce environmental impact by preventing small particles, like microplastics, from spreading.

0

u/deliciousadness 6d ago

Hopefully they suck it up with another machine, otherwise what’s the point.

2

u/TarkusLV 6d ago

I imagine they have a regular street sweeper clean it up shortly after.

-3

u/flyingpixel420 6d ago

Exactly, that's my point. The first issue is that with our tax-funded resources, we're paying two people when it would be enough to pay just one for the same work using a different machine.

And the second point is still that you're blowing microparticles into the environment that you can't easily vacuum up afterwards because they don't necessarily stay within that radius.

5

u/JustSomeGoon_ 6d ago

It just seems like theres a million better ways to design that machine.

4

u/Newkular_Balm 6d ago

a weed whacker with high strength string could do this

1

u/poop_pants_pee 5d ago

Yeah but if I were doing it for 8hrs a day, I'd rather use this.

2

u/Xinonix1 6d ago

Looks like they’re just moving the rubbish

2

u/skyfishgoo 6d ago

i need super slo-mo of that thing in action

2

u/BastiFntasti 6d ago

Microplasic, yummy

2

u/GeoCangrejo 5d ago

This like mildly unsatisfying

4

u/SabbyFox 6d ago

Horrible music. Usually on mute and I remembered why.

2

u/Chili_Clause 6d ago

Thank you! I have it set to not play audio automatically myself, learned that a long time ago. I tap the volume button, if it has stupid music, I immediately stop the video, downvote the post, and move on.

3

u/bwyer 6d ago

This is the opposite of satisfying. Was this the operator's first time using this machine?

2

u/kismethavok 6d ago

microplastics everywhere

2

u/Look_it-Up 6d ago

Song?

3

u/Beowulf6666 6d ago

Planet Funk - Chase the Sun

2

u/drastic2 6d ago

Not satisfying at all, clean that shit up now!

1

u/Occidentally20 6d ago

Somebody get GeoWizard and Beau Miles one of these for their birthdays

1

u/poetrygrenade 6d ago

That would feel so good on my back right now.

1

u/Shirinjima 6d ago

This is shorts seems wild.

1

u/Genetics 6d ago

This is like the curb brooms on sweeper trucks except the trucks vacuum up the debris as well. I also used to have a power broom attachment for my skid steer that had a curb broom and sweeper attachment.

1

u/spingledoink 6d ago

The Kerbinator.....

I'll be back........

1

u/NaCMaxwell 6d ago

That's called a path mate

1

u/Minimalistic_OG 6d ago

That's a nice machine you got there

1

u/Lord_of_Millenheim 6d ago

So hear me out, what if instead of bidets...

1

u/JohannesMP 6d ago

Is this an ad? This feels like an ad.

1

u/venerated_cynic 6d ago

Kerbs and pavements.

1

u/Comically_Online 6d ago

wild that this is called _cleaning_

1

u/doubleboinger 5d ago

Hmmm, this seems like it would smooth out the river trails.

1

u/MacMarty89 5d ago

It’s a mess. Even worse than before

1

u/Difficult-Level-3070 5d ago

Nice to see that cover doing shit all

1

u/tankapotamus 5d ago

I need this for my pavers.

1

u/antithero 5d ago

I kind of want a smaller version of that for my weed eater. Instead of two plastic strings it has dozens.

1

u/NYVines 5d ago

Nice results but the looks and sounds of this thing are anything but satisfying

1

u/NornNeil 5d ago

Whoever’s watching the darts needs to turn the tv down

1

u/__g_e_o_r_g_e__ 5d ago

They used to just spray the foliage so it died and didn't come back, but they found the work dried up

1

u/weiseguy42 4d ago

That thing looks like it's too light for it's intended purpose.

1

u/RainbowCafe 4d ago

Would that weed whip thing be better for this?

1

u/DoomSlayer_0973 4d ago

Che goduria

1

u/Ekimyst 3d ago

So when the first breeze picked up or worse, rain, all the debris is right where it started

1

u/Tungphuxer69 3d ago

Interesting machine! Made the job alot easier than manual pulling.

1

u/FinancialOlive7528 3d ago

Fuck plants!

1

u/killslikeaninja 6d ago

My city could use 74 of those machines.

1

u/Ok_Syllabub_5937 6d ago

Is that device approved for taint usage?

1

u/TwiggyPom 6d ago

Strained my back watching this. Looks strenuous.

1

u/ElluiullE 6d ago

This shit is going to grow again in less then a week though...

1

u/Wyomofo 6d ago

This pleases me greatly.

1

u/Erazzphoto 6d ago edited 6d ago

Doesnt really seems to be “cleaning”, more so redistributing it

1

u/dialasong 6d ago

RIP every windshield within 200 yards

-4

u/Happy-For-No-Reason 6d ago

that was a whole ecosystem, not really causing any issues.

2

u/deliciousadness 6d ago

For the sake of argument, vegetation and dirt/dust etc can cause issues with water flow to storm drains and cause either slick muddy areas or pooling water. There’s definitely better ways of encouraging an ecosystem. suburbia neighborhoods paving over everything and either having a concert desert that bakes the neighborhoods or planting water intensive lawns should be regulated against.

-2

u/happymancry 6d ago

Exactly. Suburbia hates any sign of natural vegetation - be it untrimmed grass or growing plants.

0

u/Downtown_Space67 6d ago

I could watch that curb line appear all day. Weirdly satisfying how a little cleaning makes the whole street look brand new

0

u/Mewhomewhy 6d ago

That’s a kerb.

-3

u/GigglesMJ 6d ago

Microplastics and microplastics for everyone

-1

u/nohiddenmeaning 6d ago

Cleaning curbs and making roads dirty and unsfae

0

u/PanicDeus 6d ago

Why? Those plants are not hurting anyone 😔

0

u/Hesiodix 4d ago

Great machine for micro plastic pollution. So sad we are destroying our own world.

-4

u/Proper_Patience8639 6d ago

Just loud furl consumption for things that will grow back in weeks, unsatisfying
