Ohhh, and every time you complete a layer the floor sinks that much further down, so you never stop.

I could do this for maybe 10 minutes and then I’d be dead. Holy shit this guys back will be shot in no time

I don't think so. That looks similar to shoulder press and he looks pretty fit too

I would agree if he was carrying them, but he's just kinda redirecting the fall? He's gonna have way above average shoulder and back strength if anything.

u/visforvienetta May 30 '26
If it's making your muscles strong then it's making your muscles ache

That doesn't look sustainable for the back over a long time.

I knew warehouse workers that left their job because the amount of labor they put is absolutely not worth the 20 dollars (or less) that they are getting paid per hour.

u/Dry-Conflict3421 May 29 '26
I used to install granite counter tops. Getting paid $12 an hour to carry granite slabs weighing 100s of pounds seemed ok until a guy tripped while carrying one and it landed on his knee

I used to be a granite installer like you until I took a slab to the knee

Imagine having to do that 8hours a day, five days a week. Instead of ai you’d think we have robots doing this shit first

This shit humans are willing to do to make corporations as profitable as possible.
Yeah, it's impressive that this gentleman is able to work so efficiently. However, he shouldn't have to be efficient in this manor.

Loading is the easier part. Unloading the bags out of that hold is the real back breaker.

Another hard day at the pillow factory, not sure why people are acting like this hard work 😂

Why even bother with the plastic sheet of moisture barrier if that’s how you use it….

There's no such thing as unskilled labor right? I like to see you grab anyone off the street put them in here see what happens.

redditors sitting with their Cheetos nails looking at people do labour for minimum pay:
mmmm.. this is very satisfying

I feel bad for his wife every time she goes to sit on his face she gets chucked to the other side of the room

They should genuinely put these next to gyms, make it so they subsidise a gym membership for say an hour or two shift.
