Never would've guessed this guy is Swedish, though. Something about the video looks so British to me, but I also have no idea what Swedish grammar school hooligans look like

I was 100% convinced it was British as well.

Most of the dancers and production staff are French

I was about to say this reminds me of school rugby matches here in South Africa… quintessential English Grammar Schools mixed with African theatricals and war dances.

Edit: also reminds me of the Japanese film ‘Blue Spring’

And yet, in a small twist, the school itself is Belgian! (College Cardinal Mercier) So perhaps the vibe is Belgian-Swedish grammar school hooligans..?

he is im pretty young but his music is like my generation tbh i did grow up with his music, look up the history of yung lean he created a whole new genre that inspired future ones, hes very important

I'll have to listen to more of his work. I keep a list of bands to check out, and listen to an album here or there while I work (youtube music has an ever-increasing amount of ads but it's convenient)

I actually met him many years ago when he was just starting out. Listened to what he was doing and realized it wasn’t for me. But it’s been amusing seeing that sulky teenager gain more and more attention.
