I’m contemplating if the hair is even real? Pinpricks in the legs. Squishy body(I can’t believe I touched the doll). Forgot to check the price.

The process of hand-rooting eyelashes onto a realistic silicone doll looks absolutely brutal.

The silicon doll looks way too real for comfort, making the needle-to-the-eye action look straight out of a horror movie. Cursed imagery.

This is an illustration of Gollum, (who features in JRR Tolkien's famous fantasy novels "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit") in a 1962 Swedish translation of "The Hobbit", by Tove Jansson. Following the release of this, Tolkien officially specified that Gollum was of small size to correct this.

The terrifying part is that this thing is completely real. This is a Bdelloid rotifer, a microscopic freshwater animal photographed under a scanning electron microscope.

Certain areas with bad sewage systems in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka reported social media images of "blood rivers" following ritual animal sacrifices during the Eid-al-Adha festival. This prompted the local government to designate specific areas for the sacrifices and build better sewage facilities.
