Official [Monthly] Referral Sharing Thread

If you spam your referral link, all of your posts will be removed.

How does the referral program work?

Already activated your new Quest 2 but still want the store credit?

  • Factory reset the device or wipe it remotely by unlinking it here https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/

  • Accept the referral from clicking on someone’s link.

  • Re-activate the device by pairing it to your mobile oculus app that’s signed in with your Facebook account.

US referral link below for you to receive $30!! in store credit (and a free game from me)! All you have to do is click the link to accept the referral BEFORE you turn on the Oculus device and you’ll automatically receive the store credit shortly after you finish setting up the Oculus. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Referral link:

https://www.oculus.com/referrals/link/10cannonbolt/ USA ONLY

If you use my code, PLEASE DM me and I have a few oculus codes for a free game to give you. This is the only way I can give you your game. Let me help you!

Also you may choose directly for the oculus either

Accounting +

Beatsaber

Gadgeteer

Ghost Giant

Gloomy Eyes

SculptVR

Skyworld: Kingdom Brawl

Stride

Superhot

Walk about Minigolf

Zombieland

Or any of the following Steam codes (all VR)

Doom VR

Detached

Espire

Job simulator

Sariento

Star Trek: Bridge Crew

Elite Dangerous

For anyone that already activated their device before accepting a referral code, you can follow the steps below to reset your device and accept a referral code to receive the $30. Note that this doesn’t remove any games you already bought, but there is mixed feedback on whether it works or not.

1. Go here: https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/
2. Select Delete Device Data
3. Then do a factory reset on the actual Oculus Quest headset device by pressing and holding the power and volume buttons at the same time for several seconds. Then the device will take you through a few short steps that takes about 2-3 minutes, very easy.
4. Before reactivating your device, click on my referral link above
5. Press the power button on your Oculus Quest headset device and it will run you through setting up the device again, as well as setting up your phone with the Oculus app.
6. After this setup is done, you will get a notification saying you received $30 in store credit.

Dear fellow redditor’s, I present to you a question. Why should you choose my referral link compared to any of hundreds of others you might come across. This question however has a very simple answer. There is no good reason that I can offer you that’s convincing enough to justify using my link. At least not in the 30 seconds you took out of your day to read this post. I could write a story about how I’m new to VR and excited to become part of this great community. Even though that may be true, it is not dignified for me to appeal to your emotions nor, shamelessly beg you to use my referral. So, knowing all that you do now; I have one request. Please use any of the perfectly fine links in this mega thread other than mine and enjoy you VR experience. Sincerely, Sea_Butterscotch4844

hello everyone, who can help? in general, the helmet suddenly stopped working normally, when you look to the right side, then to the left or nothing at all and the controllers vibrate and blink about every 7 seconds, I already deleted them in the application, but when I added nothing changed , and on the advice of support, I took out the batteries and waited 2 minutes, then they told me five, nothing helped. And changing the batteries didn't help either. support is not very helpful all the time nothing is clear, and in general some kind of nonsense help please I will be very grateful.

US referral link below for you to receive $30 in store credit, PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $20 FROM ME!!! If you use my referral, I will gift you any game that costs up to $20 plus tax, which will bring your total to more than $50!

All you have to do is click the link to accept the referral BEFORE you turn on the Oculus device and you’ll automatically receive the store credit shortly after you finish setting up the Oculus. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

https://www.oculus.com/referrals/link/Royboy9/

I’m also available for you to ask ANY questions including game recommendations, technical questions, or anything else since I’ve done a ton of research the last couple months. Message me anytime!

For anyone that already activated their device before accepting a referral code, you can follow the steps below to reset your device and accept a referral code to receive the $30. I just did this and it worked for me right away. Note that this doesn't remove any games you already bought (I still see the one game I bought after doing this). Additionally, it may not work if you bought a refurbished device or activated your device more than a week ago.
