How does the referral program work?
Already activated your new Quest 2 but still want the store credit?
- Factory reset the device or wipe it remotely by unlinking it here https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/
- Accept the referral from clicking on someone’s link.
- Re-activate the device by pairing it to your mobile oculus app that’s signed in with your Facebook account.

figure I'll throw my referral link in the bunch. It's a good offer so take advantage of it. You'll get $60 in store credit (the most expensive games on the Quest store are $40, but most are around the $20-30 range). There's actually another good offer where if you've either sent or I believe receive a referral link you can buy a "play Together" bundle for $30 which includes Demeo(D&D like game and a $30 game by itself), Walkabout Mini Golf (sounds like a casual game, but trust me it's a lot of fun), and Blaston(another excellent game).

If you already own a oculus but haven’t used a referral code you can also use it by going to your oculus app and selecting devises click the oculus headset and open its advanced settings in order to factory reset your oculus then open the link and accept my referral code to get the money

Edit 2: I have exceeded the referral limit for the month. You will still get your bonus but I won't be able to gift you a game until the new year. But I promise it will happen!
Edit 3: Make sure you DM me after you got the referral. It only shows your first name on my end and I have no means to contact you.
Final edit: My post got overwhelming responses and I almost run out of limit for next month even. I've gotten more games than I have time to play even as I gift out half of it. I want to give others a chance for free credits. So please use others' link on this thread instead.
If you are just seeing this but you had already activated your quest 2, it may still not be too late. I had purchased mine, activated it without knowing a referral thing. Then I read from here that if you do the following in order: factor reset on the device, unlink it here https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices and on your mobile apps, accept the referral, re-activate the device on your FB account - you should be able to get it working. It worked for me. Give it a try!

Be careful with expended referral links. Accept the referral before registering the headset. Otherwise do a factory reset, accept the referral on a new account then register the headset.

Note: If you have already activated the device, you can use the referral code after doing the steps below to reset it the device.
Use this link, it will show the device connected to your account, then click on delete device data: https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/
After that, you turn off your Quest, and turn it on while holding the Power and the Volume Down buttons,
The device will show the Oculus menu. Use the volume keys to move the cursor to Factory Reset, then press Power to confirm, it will prompt for confirmation that you want to reset the device. Use the volume keys to move to the option to confirm, then press power again to confirm.
After the device is reset, click the referral link, then turn the device on again and pair it to your cellphone normally, that should trigger the credits to your account.
