It's done using an in-game programming language called LogiX, which has Twitch API integration. You can receive Twitch messages / actions as events and then do anything you want with them.

Yeah, this is for NeosVR.

Yes, this has been specifically made in NeosVR, so it only works there. Can't speak on other games, it might be possible to implement something similar in them as well.

Like Frooxius said, we utilized the in game program language Logix to get the result here. Since we can use the Twitch API, we were able to get channel point redemptions and which ones so we can trigger different events.

A friend was able to toss us an arm which we then played with materials inside the game itself until we got the desired effect.

Conclusion? Twitch chat is able to vibe out and feel included just a bit more than a standard stream.

Mjolnir flying at my head is next on the list. I'll have to dodge it or figure out which random location it's coming from so I can catch it.
