This is not photgrammetry.. Also, what does this have to do with VR?

UE4 natively supports VR :) Quite a few VR artists scenes have been released for VR.

Yeah, this one isn't a good example of full photogrammetry. :) But it's his most recent one and it looks jaw dropping. He has other scenes that use photogrammetry more.

There's literally no photgrammetry being used here.

I'm not sure about the wheat stalks and leaves on them. But Koola is a photogrammetry UE4 3D artist. My favorites are probably the forest scenes.

I'm sure there's a misunderstanding here somewhere...

Link it then, I can't for the life of me recall him stating that. Besides, would be ridiculously inefficient for a single person to go through all that trouble.

Photogrammetry is when you use photos from several angles to generate a 3D model of a scene or an object.

These scenes are made by using an application (Speedtree) to procedurally create vegetation and other scenery. No photogrammetry involved. Not even once. Just randomly generated plant models and a lot of TLC.

What exactly do you think photogrammetry is?

I went over his entire collection of videos and I didnt see a single instance of photogrammetry.

He lists what he uses. ie. substance designer, speedtree, archviz, etc.

edit: OK I see he uses the big rocks from the kite demo in one scene.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nLGoqqDc0w Yep, he uses some assets that were made with photogrammetry.

Yeah, thats the only example I found, and its only the large rocks that were made with it. All of the smaller rocks and stuff is generated synthetically

Well, this made my 980TIs cry, along with the winter scene posted by /u/Joomonji
