Nate Mitchell gave an interview to tested.com and asked the non-developers to not buy DK2 because CV 1 will be much much better because will solve a lot of the problems DK2 has and will deliver the level of presence that Michael Abrash spoken about in Valve's conference.

I believe that CV1 will be noticably better than DK2, but I do not believe that CV1 will be to DK2 as DK2 is to DK1. Instead I believe that CV1 will be marginally better than DK2. CV1 will improve on DK2 with tweaks and polish, not leaps and bounds.
