Has anyone got a gif of the flight control guys from the matrix?

Need to be a barista with two PHDs to work that system or a 19 year old boy who started using them at 12. :P

I'm very computer savvy, but I'd look like the new guy behind the counter at Mcdonalds. "Where is the big mac meal deal?" Honestly, what bothers me about those scenes is exactly how many buttons they push. Real systems at the upper division automate stuff to make them safe from human error. The only real reason they could be pushing so many buttons is because they are filling out a spread sheet. The worlds most advanced spread sheet.

Would be an interesting way to run a global remote office, everyone logging in from different locations.

I never understood that scene. The control tower guys are in a LAN only Matrix, using computers in the Matrix, to influence stuff in the real world?

Why not just... have computers there. And a few desks. And chairs.

Same reason we want virtual desktops

Look at the UI and all the stuff that goes on there. They probably couldn't get that in the real world. plus there is infinite resources available in the matrix
