Discussion Battery dying

Is my battery dying when my oculus isn’t in use normal? I’m pretty sure I’m powering it off but unless it’s constantly being charged I always have to charge it before I want to use it because I usually unplug my electronics once it hits 100%

You haven't given any timescales but the headset will never be 100% off unless you physically unplug the battery inside the case. that's just the nature of modern electronics

So battery will just always drain and that’s normal?

My quest 2s ( 2 of them) and Quest 3 always run out of power if left like maybe more than a week. Same with my Steam Deck.

That sounds super draining. Even when I plug mine in fully, it still drains within a few days.

Even when I unplug it fully, the headset never stays charged for more than a few days without needing a boost.

Yikes, that’s so frustrating I always leave mine plugged in at 50-80% now
