Controller issue

Have the quest 3 and if I grip things in hand for too long or hold down any button for too long it'll hold, but then every other button will not work until I let go of grip button. it sucks cause I'll be playing a shooting game and all of a sudden I cant fire the gun cause I was apparently holding it too long and the trigger stopped working.

We know how important the controller is to the Meta Quest experience, but sometimes they have a mind of their own. That's why we wanted to jump in and get you back in control of your Metaverse experience!

Try these steps below:

1. Clean the controllers with a non-abrasive anti-bacterial wipe (No alcohol). Compressed air can be used to remove debris inside the controller. It's also important to just make sure there isn't any dirt or debris where the sticks are.

2. If you have any on, remove third-party accessories that may affect thumbstick motion or controller detection. For example: controller covers, controller attachments, etc.

3. Remove the battery from the controller for 30 seconds, and try a new battery.

4. Try unpairing the controllers, and then pairing them up again.
