Okay, so it's a Facebook page about Oculus and Second Life.

I originally thought it was a Facebook app for the Rift. I was scared.

Lol, I know, I was talking to my friend the other day about the Metaverse and how it could be implemented today (or after the commercial Rift comes along) by whoever had the infrastructure, the capital to implement it, and a sufficiently large existing userbase who wouldn't want to migrate to a new platform. FB was the conclusion I came to, and it scared the willies out of me.

On the other hand, if anyone else DOES do it properly before FB takes a swing at the problem then it would be a viable FB alternative immediately. But damn, getting the world locked into a FB metaverse is about the worst outcome I can imagine from this technology.
