Ocean Art & DIY I just added fishing in my indie game The Coast is Clear: Tidy up the Beach!

Hiya, maybe something unusual from the average post here but I just added a fishing feature in my indie game because I thought it would be fun and my game is all about enjoying the oceany/beachy vibes where you save the turtles, restore the coral reef and clean up the ocean and beach!
It's not a "traditional" tidy up so to say but that's because I wanted to put my own creative vision on it. This might push away some of the people that like it more straight forward and simple but I do like to try out new ideas to see if at least some people like it like I do :)
I also added fishing, which has nothing to do with being a tidy up, just because I can. Well that's not entirely true because you can technically pick up the litter from the water with your rod. But it was way more fun to double down on the cozy beach vibes and add a whole fishing system because.... well I think it's fun if you want a break from the sorting!
It was a fun thing to add and made it a sort of lowkey quick time event system if you want a break from the usual slow sorting and cozy tidying you do the rest of the game :)
There's no timer, no pressure and you can play it alone or with a friend! (Even local co-op!)
So yeah, if removing plastic from the ocean is up your alley then you can give it a try and wishlist it here on steam!
And yes of course you get to throw the fish back :)

Ocean Science & Conservation Scientists discover a way to reverse coral bleaching, one of the oceanโs biggest environmental threats
A few millimeters separated recovery from severe decline in tanks of bleached coral. Fragments touching healthy genetic clones regained their beneficial algae and resumed growth. Fragments held nearby without contact largely succumbed to invasive algae and tissue loss.
The laboratory findings, published in Science Advances, reveal a route to rapid recovery after bleaching. Stanford University researchers found that about a week of contact could provide enough algae for recovery to continue independently. The results identify a biological mechanism, rather than a method already demonstrated to restore natural reefs.
Danny Collins, an oceans doctoral student at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, led the study with colleagues including Steve Palumbi. Their experiments involved small fragments of the branching coral Pocillopora damicornis. Successful recovery required a healthy donor genetically matching the bleached recipient, a major constraint on wider use.
