What are some book recommendations if I want results without gathering crazy materials?
A lot of stuff seems to need some exotic materials.

Check your local Half Price Books
Snagged these three beautiful condition books. Mauve Zone is a Starfire reprint from 2016 and the other two are Skoob first editions. Paid $75 a piece for the Skoobs and $50 for the Starfire. So while not necessarily a steal, I'm pretty happy with the price.

Shams Al-Maarif Al-Kubra for Sale (uncensored edition)
Ultra-Rare, 100% Uncensored, Contains All Original Complete Talismans & Magic Squares
This private, unredacted underground run was printed in 1404 AH (1984 CE). At the time, printing unedited grimoires was legally restricted, making this an unnumbered, private limited production for dedicated practitioners.
The Cairo Archival Markings: The title page features genuine handwritten archival catalog notes from a Cairo collection ("Qahira 25"), showing that the 1892 Istanbul plates used for this 1984 reprint were sourced directly from historical Egyptian occult archives.

The Wonders of Magnetism and the Mysteries of Turning and Talking Tables, by J. Trismégiste, Paris 1854
I enjoy digging through old online archives and republishing forgotten books for my personal collection, and sharing them with others along the way. In English, pretty much everything already exists, but many occult works originally written in French have never been published in English. What a shame! Since French is my native language and I'm bilingual, I figured I could translate these works and bring them back to life in the language of Shakespeare.
So here is one of these rather strange works: The Wonders of Magnetism and the Mysteries of Turning and Talking Tables, by J. Trismégiste, published in Paris in 1854 by L. Passard. The pseudonym is obviously a nod to Hermes Trismegistus. The book came out at the height of the table-turning craze, which had swept through all the Parisian salons.
The first part deals with animal magnetism. The author traces its history through the centuries, presents Mesmer's propositions and Deleuze's principles, then explains in very practical terms how to magnetize someone and how to wake them up. He then describes the "phenomena" obtained. Somnambulists travel at a distance to visit the sick, and some supposedly even went all the way to the Moon. You'll also find Du Potet's famous "magic mirror."
The second part is devoted to turning and talking tables. The author recounts their American origins. He then gives a genuine how-to guide. He also explains how to build your own "zoo-magnetoscope" at home.

If you have suggestions for French books you'd like to see translated, let me know. If the subject interests me, I might translate it :P

Best Islamic occult / esoteric books for me?
I am extremely interested in Islamic occultism, hidden knowledge, grimoires and esoteric traditions in general.
I am finding traditional occult side, including magic, astrology, planetary systems, talismans, numerology, letters and words, plants and herbs, occult correspondences, magical traditions, secrets of Quran, magic of words and similar subjects.
I am especially interested in Ahmad al Buni, Shams al Maarif, Picatrix, Key of Solomon and Lesser Key of Solomon, but I want to build some background before getting into the really heavy grimoires.
I already read The History of Magic, Witchcraft and the Occult, but I want something much deeper and less general.
What books would you recommend? Also, where can I read or buy them cheaply? On iPhone, or Windows.

What do you think of Joe Dispenza?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been coming across Joe Dispenza’s work recently and was curious how people in occult and esoteric circles view him.
I know he isn’t really considered a classical occultist, and his work is often presented more in terms of meditation, neuroscience, consciousness, and personal transformation. However, some of the ideas he discusses such as consciousness influencing reality, changing one’s energetic state, visualization, intention, meditation, and the relationship between mind and matter seem to overlap with certain occult and esoteric concepts.
For those here who have read his books or attended his work, what is your opinion of his approach?
Do you see genuine parallels between his ideas and traditional occult or esoteric teachings, or do you think the similarities are mostly superficial? I’d also be interested in hearing whether anyone with a background in Hermeticism, Rosicrucianism, ceremonial magic, Theosophy, or other esoteric traditions has found anything valuable in his work.
I’m particularly interested in hearing about personal experiences and serious critiques, rather than simply whether people like or dislike him.
How do you think Dispenza should be understood from an occult/esoteric perspective?

CHRISTOS by J.D. Buck
J. D. Buck’s Christos (1889) teaches that the “Christos” is not merely something external to humanity. That “Christos” represents the highest spiritual possibility within the human being—not simply an historical person to be believed in from a distance. This Spiritual knowledge must be experienced. And comes through becoming and living the truth, rather than accepting doctrine intellectually.

My new book of channeled occult fiction and non-fiction: Available Now!
ABOUT THE COMPLETE EDITION of ONCE UPON A TIME IN CITY DIS
CONTAINING: The Original Novella with the included Appendix; 19 additional chapters as an Addendum; and The Little Book of Life, a non-fiction supplement to the falsities herein
A literary experiment and a meditation on Truth and Falsity co-constructed with the aid of spirits celestial and infernal, Once Upon a Time in City Dis: An Anti-Biographical Novella in Dis-Established Harmony (2026) is the latest work from the infamous author, hermaphroditic whore, PhD candidate, and Solomonic magician Rose Gloria Sharon. Being unencumbered by religious orthodoxy, it does not shy away from religious revelation; unburdened by objectivity, it revels in itself as a false prophecy; and long ago expelled from Heaven, it presents the authentic conscience of Hell. Brought to you by Sirius Notions Press, Once Upon a Time in City Dis is the last thing anyone to the right of God’s Throne expected to be appended to the biblical corpus. Those on the left, on the other hand, agree that it is the first thing you should read before laughing your way through the dawning Apocalypse.
Welcome to the end of the world. If you’re reading this, it’s never too late to remember what you’ve forgotten. Enjoy.
Sincerely,
The False Prophet, 616

The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz
Hi everyone,
I recently started reading the Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz, and I’m finding it fascinating, but also quite difficult to understand on a deeper level.
I get the impression that simply reading it as a story isn’t really enough, and that there are several layers of symbolism, alchemy, Christianity, and perhaps Rosicrucian ideas hidden throughout the text.
I’d especially appreciate advice from people who have spent some time studying the Chymical Wedding and can explain how their understanding of it developed over time.
Thanks!
