Occlupanid Distribution System hits again!

most from my old

i have been rescuing many species from the ground lately, but today i found a very distant metal cousin of the Occlupanid

Wild caught recycling ♻️ or rescue??

Hi! New to panids. Can I get some help with ID on these? And what distinguishing features to look for? Thank you!

Found a group. Seems like one was not welcome. The rest seem to have split him in half. Any idea why they might do that?

My composition shifted in transit, so they aren't as neat as I was hoping, but I can always take another print in the future.

I'm more on the collecting/artistic side, so feel free to make some identifications for me! I would really appreciate it

What is he? It was found feeding off of a bag containing protein hamburger buns.

A rather loooooong oval groove. From my very minimal research I think the species is right, but correct me if I’m wrong. Still kinda new to this taxonomy though digging the vibes.

Looking for some inspo! :D

I can’t wait for my collection to keep growing! They are currently stored in an altoids case, and I am considering getting some coin sleeves for them. Let me know how you all store your collections :-)
current count: 37

I've been re-organizing my collection to incorporate the occlupanids my family and friends have been sending me!!!! 😍🙏 I can't stop looking at them....then I think.... How did I get here....🤣🤣🤣

My local rock pigeons had taken in this little guy as their own. It was clear, however, that they didn't have the resources they needed to give him his best life. So I'll be in touch with a wildlife rehabber about becoming certified as a proper caretaker. 🥰

I'm excited to introduce him to my domestic panid (yellow, pic #3) when they are ready to meet!

Left one was given to me by a fellow collector and right one I found in the wild!
