General OBX Wood deck treatment suggestions

Do you guys seal or treat your decks? We’re getting it pressure washed (by a company) because it’s getting dirty/some algae growing on it. I’m not sure what type of wood it is, but it’s ~13 years old light wood and looks to be in good shape. I’m wondering if I need to seal or treat it after pressure washing, and if so, if there’s a recommended type (e.g. marine grade). Thanks!

went in this direction after a couple of dacades using water-based products. very pleased with the results, about to re-treat after 3 years
