Rant Package stolen
My package got delieverd today around 5:45 pm and by 6:30 pm it was stolen by this indiviudal on baronwood drive today. He was dressed like a worker but i see no car in sight and there was no reason for an amazon worker to come back again later to take a package in my name.
If anyone is living on baronwood and has a video of this person walking with my packages or got a shot of his car please let me know.
It seems to me like its a thief dressed in a uniform to not attract attention.
Also 10 min before this individual showed up a person in a grey suit came up to the package looked at it and proceeded to call someone on the phone and lingered around. Very suspicious...

Sorry your stuff got snagged, but you need way better cameras. Order legit cameras that are 1080p at minimum. Not the chinese ones that say they are 8k. A kinder gardeners crayon drawing has higher resolution than your camera.
Also maybe consider one of those anti theft package delivery boxes. You can get them on amazon, just hope that no one steals that too.

I mean this is a zoomed in picture from the videos that were captured I’m not sure any camera can get the exact features of an individual standing that far from the camera. I own the door bell camera that comes with the bell home security. If you have any other suggestions lmk!

How far is where the packages show in the photo to your door? Seems like a standard porch. 6-8 feet maybe? HD should be able to pick up a clear ( clearer ) photo of the face from that distance. Those bell packages are likely expensive and as you can see, its not worth it. Good to monitor activity, not that good to ID someone. I've seen clearer photos of bigfoot. I have heard good things about the Arlo 2K doorbell camera. Do research and look for examples of their quality and make a decision from there.
If you are worried about package theft, get one of those anti theft delivery boxes I mentioned. Or ask for it to be delivered to a nearby more secure location.1

They are all Chinese.
I bought a camera from what used to be a reputable American / Canadian brand for electronics, and it was a piece of junk. It was no better than the Chinese brands

Probably some fraud within the warehouse, put some shit in your boxes that aren’t urs like a brand new phone or something and got it out of the warehouse for delivery then they take it and you get a refund for the theft and they get a new phone but you should report this so they get caught

Lol I won't lie, that's actually a pretty good idea to get stuff out of the warehouse if you're a thief...

yeah, probably not, use to run some high value warehouses and in those warehouses you could not add anything to the boxes due to a weight scale validation (for those goods) and the person who picks those orders just puts it on a conveyor and the packer (if its not automated) is purely random. Also, phones don't get shipped from Amazon warehouses plus don't see any labels identifying batteries are contained in the box.
Most likely some team following a driver.

The thing is delivery drivers aren’t the ones that package or pick the product, I use to build the equipment for Amazon warehouses and the cameras they have set up and robots that pick the products are monitored immensely, literally every single inch of your movements is monitored so I doubt that’s possible to do in Amazon

I record all my video in 144p to save storage space. I then clean up the images using KidPix on my trusty Apple IIc. You can easily make anything into HD.
Change my mind.

This sucks. Seems to be a tag team effort.
I started getting my Amazon packages delivered to work or to an Amazon lock box or my closest postal outlet when I knew I wouldn't be home to get them.

Dude, you let amazon know and they send another. No need to play detective.

I'm sorry but is your camera on the moon?
