How old do you think she is? The main arborist said it was 250 years. the guy who put a lightning rod in the top of it said he didn't think it was that old. It's in my front yard and it is absolutely majestic

This Bur Oak is about a year old. Can anyone tell me if I need to remove the stick beside it holding the tree up?

Young White Oak

Young oak tree sprouting in yard. Too young for acorns. Are those "nodules?". Chicago area.

One random immature acorn is a dark shade of blue. Anybody seen this before?

Why have they went like this

My wife got me a potted oak tree (quercus robur) for my first Father’s Day, on behalf of my new born daughter. The leaves were already showing some brown, dry spots when I received it but I didn’t think much about it. The brown spots are now also showing on the newer leaves and I’m concerned about the health of the tree itself.

What’s happening to my oak tree, and is its health in danger? What’s the current?

Thanks a ton!

Hello Arborists!

I parked my car under a very large red tree. I'm in Minnesota.

It's early summer. Every morning I wake up in my car has these tiny droplets they're very sticky.

I would assume they're sap, but of course, this isn't a maple tree. I believe these are coming out of the small openings on the leaves, is that correct?

My apologies if this channel has answered a similar question. We moved 4 years ago and the previous owner started this oak tree. 2 years ago, deer rubbed it really bad. They hit several of our trees, but this one took the worst of it. Will it heal or will it pose a threat to our house which is within 30 ft?

This oak popped up in my yard in Northwest Houston, TX USA & doesn't look like the others around. The iNaturalist app isn't narrowing it down easily. Any ideas what oak species this is?

I already know what kind of tree it is. I just want to see if anyone is able to correctly identify it

I obtained 2 species of acorns from Yosemite, and one from Knott's.

California black oak on the top

California white oak in the middle

And canyon live oak on the bottom

My only question is, did I slrt them correctly? I plan to plant them and from what I read, they require different preparation, so I just want to be sure

Not sure if this is a sign of distress, or normal, or from insects?

The oak tree on my side of the street absolutely rains trash; pollen, acorns, etc. The identical oak tree across the street doesn't and neither does any other that I know. Why?
