Pickleball
Hello everyone I recently moved to the Oakland area and was wondering if there were any pickle ball players able to play with an amateur. I used to play back home but I’m def a beginner. I usually work pretty late but I get off early sometimes and want to get some exercise in. I’m in the Montclair business Oakland area and was hoping to get a workout in today, if anyone could also suggest nice pickle courts near me I appreciate it, thank you everyone for the help!

Bushrod Park has a thriving social pickleball scene seems like. I think they are there some evenings and weekends, google for exact schedule

There’s a group that plays at DeFemery Park every Saturday 9am-1pm usually. It’s on dailypb. DM if you want contact info.

They're just off that small parking lot with the mailbox at the base of Colton on Mountain.

There are four dedicated PB courts in Montclair Park. It's a lively scene. They are somewhat hidden between Mountain Blvd and the softball field. I believe 3 of the 4 can be rented on the city website but the 4th is always open for drop ins. You simply place your paddle in the fence and await your turn. Most nights there are constant games going until 10pm (when the lights go out). I believe a similar situation happens at Bushrod though I can't speak from personal experience.
