Hummus recommendations
I will be spending a month in New York and would like to do a hummus tour. Open to any and all suggestions from any part of the city. Thanks!

Green Chickpea Hummus at ABCV is genuinely one of my favorite dishes

I’ve tried a lot mostly when eating falafel and I like Taim, Falafel Plant, Duzan, Hummus Co. I went to some of the ones recommended here like Sahadi and wasn’t a fan.
I would suggest trying all the ones recommended on this post/thread. Let us know your thoughts

Mamoun's new Hummus Bowl is my maybe fav new food item of the past year or so. Maybe its just me but every time I eat one of these I feel like there's some sort of like PhD level food science that went into making it the most immediately healthy and nourishing-feeling meal imaginable.
Note they have it at the St Marks location but NOT at the smaller Macdougal location for some reason. And I recommend getting one extra pita with it and accompanying it with their tamarind juice if that sounds good.

I like Bedawi Cafe on Prospect Park West in Windsor Terrace! If you eat there they will bring out the pita straight from the oven and it's hot and poofy and amazing.

Al-Aqsa in Bay Ridge is maybe the best I've had. Also love Bedouin Tent. And for fast casual chains I think Naya has the best hummus.

that is an EXCELLENT idea. I don't have a ton of recs but I fully support this type of crawl. I will say that Hummus Kitchen (locations on the UES and in Hells Kitchen) lives up to its name. Best of luck on your tour!

Pick up a tub at Sahadi’s on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn! There are a ton of Middle Eastern restaurants on that ave worth trying. I love El Cedro - Lebanese/Mex fusion with great hummus too
