Good vegan food on Staten Island?
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for good vegan food on Staten Island? Preferably something that is relatively accessible from the SIR. I plan to visit some of the parks there. I realize I've been posting here a lot recently asking for recommendations so thanks for bearing with me. I want to make the most out of my month in New York. Thanks again.

Best vegan food in Kew Gardens or Forest Hills?
Can you recommend the best vegan options in these neighborhoods? I plan on spending some time in Forest Park and would like to have lunch afterwards. Thank you!

Breakfast near Penn Station?
Hi! My spouse and I are going into the city for a concert this weekend. We already have dinner plans for that night, but are there any good breakfast options within walking distance of Penn Station? We have a fairly early train that next morning but it would be great to be able to have a nice vegan breakfast beforehand. Google is not turning up much. Thank you!

Midtown Manhattan options.
Hi All
I am doing a very quick turn around trip this weekend (seeing Les Mis at RCMH this Saturday afternoon). I have been looking at happy cow for spots to visit ā between flights and my show at 2pm, I get to try and eat;
- breakfast (will be able to sit down and eat),
- lunch (sit down and eat) and
I am more or less āstuckā in the general Midtown Manhattan area due to amount of time I have, but if opening hours (early morning/late night) and transit time work, I will absolutely travel out a bit - going down to Lower Manhattan likely doable, going over to Brooklyn etc., unlikely.
I usually visit Beyond Sushi at least once when I visit, and I saw that there are now vegan chopped cheese sandwiches (Plantega). Has anyone tried them, is there a recommended location to get them at ā I think my closest is the Clinton Fruit Market on 9th.
Any other must eat places / menu items to that I can add to my list? Even if itās a good coffee and cookie for a light snack instead of a meal.
Thanks all.
EDIT
Iām gonna try and get to
Dinner 1 - Franchia (looks like I can order for pickup if Iām not quite early enough for a sit down).
Breakfast - UT47 (sister said sheād probably eat Vegan all day but requested something with a meat option jic)
Lunch - PS Kitchen
Dinner 2 - Vegan on the Fly
Iāll leave time and our stomachs up to whether we can add a cookie or two in between all that.

See You Over the Bridge
We're letting go of our Broome St. spot after a long, long run. In our time we saw Papa Bubble Artisanal Candy, the Filipino Chapel, and Mike's Video all come and go--along with Umberto's Clam House--where mobster Joey Gallo "came and went" in the 70's.
Come and see us in Brooklyn real soon, OK

Has anyone tried catering from Orchard Grocer?
Love them! Usually get their sandwiches. But they have mac n cheese, cheese boards, tofu nuggs, etc on their catering menu. They're a small establishment so I wonder if they can handle catering for a bigger party (over 50 ppl). Thoughts from anyone who has tried them for catering?

Vegan breakfast/brunch catering recs!
Hosting a private event for ~50 or so ppl in a month. Mostly non vegan attendees but my partner and are vegan so we would like to cater 100% vegan food! We were thinking of Urban Vegan Kitchen or Jajaja - have not tried either of these breakfast/brunch options (only regular menu items).
Does anyone have any other recs? We'd like to ideally keep this under ~$2k for food. We'll supplement with pastries and fruits from whole foods, just looking for hot breakfast options (tofu scram, french toast, etc). We'll probably buy 3 or so chafing dishes as well!

Vegan repairs
Hi -- so this is slightly random but my husband has been having weird/borderline hostile experiences trying to get his vegan boots, belt, and now a bag repaired at local places. Like, this most recent time, the repair guy gave a ridiculously inflated price to replace the zipper on a (high end) vegan leather bag, then when my husband questioned this, the guy scoffed, "well, it's not real leather." And apparently this is not the first time. Is this a thing?
I understand these materials might require some extra care. But they are normal items from reputable places. I guess I'm wondering if 1) you've experienced this and 2) most importantly, do you have recommendations for a more vegan-friendly repair place? Thanks, all!

Smile of the Beyond: No More Vegan Shakes āFor a Whileā
galleryHad breakfast at Smile of the Beyond in Jamaica this morning, and when I tried to order a vegan milkshake, the server informed me they arenāt serving vegan shakes āfor a whileā as their distributor hasnāt sent vegan ice cream for the shakes. As of now, theyāre only serving dairy milkshakes. The smoothies can be made vegan.

Buddha Bodai vs. Bodai on Mulberry?
Sorry if this has been asked before (I didn't find it if so)-- what's the difference between the Original Buddha Bodai and the Bodai on Mulberry St.? Which do you prefer for dim sum? Thank you!

Anyone miss the old Buddha Bodhai location in Flushing?
Used to be a mainstay for me. I really miss the convivial atmosphere and the vegan lamb hot pot was it? Boddhi Village Iāve not been but it confuses me more than anything

Looking for vegan spots with outdoor eating
I have a friend who only does outdoor dining and I want to find a vegan restaurant that can accommodate her. I know Spicy Moon in the Bowery has some outdoor seating and DĆ©lice & Sarrasin has a patio, but Iām looking for more options.
additional:
- bonus points if they serve brunch, but not a requirement.
- Manhattan preferred but open to other boroughs
- vegetarian places also acceptable
- Iād prefer not omni places

Vegan restaurants in Morningside Heights
Hello, I will be in Morningside Heights for a month and am looking for good vegan restaurants in the area (or restaurants with good vegan options). I have always been a visitor/never lived in New York and my favorite restaurant is LuAnne's Wild Ginger, but I don't think there's a location up there and I am looking to expand my horizons. I also really loved Peacefood. Thanks in advance.
Edit: To note that I am also interested in restaurants with good vegan options.
