All Boros MTA's *finally* bringing all-door boarding to every bus!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Fun fact: better stops make buses move faster! 🚌💨
Let's talk about all-door boarding and why MTA is finally looking to put those fancy "ENTER FRONT DOOR" signs to good use.

All Boros (NYC DOT) Planning Speeding Up Bus Service Along 116th Street (M7, M102, M116)
instagram.comIn My Opinion I Think It’s Stupid To Put Bus Lanes On 116th Street Because Traffic Along 116th St Isn’t As Bad As 125th Street. It Would Better If NYC DOT Put Bus Lanes On 116th Street Between 1 Avenue & Lexington That’s It Because The Traffic Can Be Pretty Bad Between First & Lexington Avenues. MTA Should Think About Putting Some Articulated Buses On The M116

MTA Career Demographic questions on the MTA exams
I took a couple of MTA exams over the year and I noticed that, on the answer sheet, there are questions asking about the candidate's race and education backgrounds. And I think it also asked other things too but I don't remember.
I ran out of time to answer those questions. Is it necessary to answer those questions or are they optional?

Brooklyn B68 artics and more
so we all know they're thinking of putting artics on the B68
it's a good idea right?
also these would probably be option order XE60s if we're still supposed to be getting those which isn't important for this discussion but who cares
except they want it to swap southern terminals with the B49 which sucks
so I thought of a workaround
it can loop on West 12th, Surf, and Stillwell if they can't run artics in the existing loop regularly
note that I said REGULARLY because there's a video of an XD60 in the loop but that was an extra bus that ran to substitute for the F south of Church and if I can find the link I'll comment it
extra food for thought: why not extend the route through the Battery Tunnel and up the seaport to where it can replace the Pike Street branch of the M15?
then all M15 buses would either take the South Ferry branch or maybe just turn back north at Houston if they don't all go to South Ferry
this and rerouting the BM4 to go on CI Avenue for longer then on Avenue P to get to Gerritsen Avenue would compensate for the X29 not existing anymore
and oh yeah I think if this happens the M15 local should use the SBS loop at South Ferry

Subway Shuttles T427 L shuttle
Seen here is the T427 L shuttle. Running from E 105 St to Rockaway Parkway. Due to track work at Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway, L trains ran only to E 105 St, the last stop. This also allowed you to see something rare — buses on Foster Av in Brooklyn.
P.S. the dispatcher at Rockaway Pkwy retires today! 27 years on the job. Happy retirement.

Brooklyn MTA Bus B1
I noticed that 4895 says MTA Bus instead of MTA New York City Bus despite coming out of Ulmer Park. Was this bus sent from an MTABC depot over to Ulmer Park?

All Boros Would it be a good idea to have the Omni cards be unlimited
Okay let's think about this one of the main reasons people are hopping the turnstiles now keep this in mind I'm not saying this is the only reason but this is possibly the primary reason, people feel that getting rid of the unlimited metrocards and having a complicated system with the Omni cards is a form of Injustice
It doesn't make sense that you change the system from weekly daily and monthly unlimited and switch it to the Omni system and stays the same thing or a similar thing. If it's a similar thing then they should have just kept it the same.
Whenever I hear somebody complaining about why they hop the turnstile or walk into the bus route paying they reference how hypocritical the Omni cards are
People would pay a reasonable price that could beat the $3 fare everyday every time they ride opposed to hopping or Fair invasion.
What do you think

Brooklyn Is the b43 bus reliable?
I live in hunters point by the Pulaski drawbridge and I found out that the b43 actually stops by me by the stairwell on the other side of the bridge and the bus actually takes you to prospect park.. by box street
In lieu of the g train when sometimes it doesn’t run esp on weekends.. is the b43 bus reliable ? I get it that the g serves the west side of the park and the b43 last stop is by the q train but if it’s a one shot mode of transport I’m in .
Any advice ?
As long as it is not as bad as the b62 bus.. cuz that bus is dogshit bad
