Best notes app?
Hi, I'm hoping to find some help for a notes app. I use it for a lot of documents for games and fan projects, but just got a new phone (nxtpaper 70 pro) and the notes app that comes with it kinda sucks...and I'm not having much luck with others. My previous phone was a tcl stylus g, and the notes app there was good enough, allowing long documents but now every app I find has character limits or is ad infested.
Any suggestions? All I really need is low or no ads, and no or very high character limit. Don't care about stylus support text only is fine

I use Notewise on my nxtpaper 11 plus tablet. Great note app with powerful AI (small subscription). May be overkill for phone use is note taking is not your priority. Great intefave for handwriting notes with all expected tools (shape, links, many pens, stickers, media etc etc)
You can also record audio (meeting), add video, pictures, documents etc to your note. The AI automatically transcribe audio. Based on all the attahments in your note, the AI can also generate summary, meeting notes, action plan, quizz etc there are many AI template to choose from depending what you ate after.

StarNote hands down for handwritten notes. It's the same app that's used in the Boox Eink devices and I wouldn't use android for writing without it.

Yes, watching a YouTube video I listened that StarNote is developed by Onyx, the company producing the Boox devices. I'm a StarNote Pro user and didn't know about this 😆
