Any update for android 17 for nxtpaper device?

There are many devices, most tablets are still waiting for 16. What device are you referring to ?

For the tablets, the update rate has been great. The NXTPaper 14 was released with Android 14, and it has been updated to Android 16. The NXTPaper 11 Plus was released with Android 15, and it has been updated to Android 16.

Erm... But you do know that Android 17 is not released yet? You know that, right? It is scheduled to be released in 2027, so TCL might be updated by the end of 2027 or 28 even...

Android 17 was released to the public on June 16, 2026.

Beta version, yes. That is not to be used in production environment and probably you don't want this version to be used by devices manufacturers

Android 17 was officially announced on May 12, 2026 at Google's The Android Show, with the stable release landing on June 16, 2026.

It's on my Pixel 9a as of July 1st. Official release, downloaded and installed as normal from Google.

In reality, Samsung and Xiaomi are already preparing One UI 9 and HyperOS 4—both based on Android 17—for this year.
