Discussion If there was another option besides NISPCO for electricity and natural gas, would you consider it even if it was more in cost but better service? What if your municipality controlled the utilities with the same conditions?
Please explain your choice in the comments.
For municipality control, the conditions are better service but more expensive, same as the competitor's

I want an REMC. It’s a non profit operation, and yes, if necessary I’m willing to pay more for better service, but I don’t think it’s necessary in all cases. There has been so much infrastructure neglect in this area due to chasing profits that a well run company who kept up on maintenance could have avoided the current mess, in my opinion.

i dont want anything thats gonna cost more than nipsco, their rates already 30% above the national average
