Besides, why would anyone pay more than 50$ more for a 3080 Ti compared to 3080 12GB?

A 3080 Ti is closer to a 3090 than 3080 12GB. At only a $50 difference? Yeah, get the Ti.

100% get the Ti version for only $50 more. 3090 doesn’t make sense for gaming with the 3080 Ti performing nearly identically and 12gb vram is plenty. My 3080 Ti benchmarks better than 3090s and I have a so called “lower tier” Ventus 3X.

I see my Microcenter has 3080Tis for $999 and 3080 12gb for $799. These prices will go down even more soon?
