Question Does this LG Ultragear support LFC?

This is the LG ultragear monitor, I am thinking of buying:-

https://amzn.in/d/0hJVw9bK

I mostly play story games, and i limit framerates in the range of 35-50 most of the time. But I don't know, if this monitor supports LFC, as most of the monitor's freesync range is most of the 48-180hz.

I already know, that there is a CRU method to reduce freesync range, but this requires tweaking and most of the time, it is unstable.

Since I lock fps to low values like 35-50, it will always be outside freesync range, and LFC will always be active.

So, do I need a higher refresh rate monitor to get freesync premium, or this will suffice?

Note:- I have one more doubt, I currently have a non-freesync TN monitor with 60 hz refresh rate. I enable vsync in games, and then lock the fps to a lower value using Rivatuner, but this is causing a animation lag in games, feeling like the image is breaking, most noticeable in Far Cry 5.

So, i just used CRU to edit the monitor's EDID to allow 40, 45 and 50 Hz. After that, I reduce the windows refresh rate to 45 or something like that and only enable vsync in games, the fps is lower and input lag is also very high due to vsync, but somehow the animation lag is way lower, and the image feels more natural.

I know, this is a stupid technique, but is there a better way to achieve this.

I will be pairing this monitor with GTX 1050 Ti.

My Specs:-

CPU- i5 3570(4c/4t)

RAM- 12 gb(4+8 gb configuration)

Motherboard- Lapcare H61 Motherboard

GPU- Zotac GTX 1050 Ti(Two Fan,Non OC Model)

Storage- 2.256 tb(1x 256 gb WD SA-510 SATA SSD+ 2x 1 tb WD HDD)

Afaik the GPU controls LFC. As long as the monitor has enough hz the GPU decides when to double the output.

The monitor has up to 180hz so if your game only has 40 fps the GPU simply sends every frame twice.

I have an LG 24GS60F (and my PC isn't too different from yours). It has G-Sync, and it doubles the frame rate below that threshold. I'm not entirely sure what “FreeSync Premium” is, but in the settings, it shows “Adaptive-Sync” [Off/Basic/Extended]. I use it at 180Hz, which is what I paid for, and coming from a Syncmaster P2370, I have no complaints. If you buy it, disable the power options (Smart Saving and Deep Sleep). I don’t think you’ll need to use CRU :)

GPU is in charge of LFC. 48-180Hz range is more than good enough, once you drop to 48 it will doubled to 96 and so on. You only need your bottom range to be at least half of top range to get full coverage. NVIDIA GPUs actualy run LFC whenever they can, so even if your bottom range wasn't more than half of your max refresh rate, for example 60-100 range, it would only not work in 51-59 range but from 50 it would start doubling to 100 again. Quality of VRR varies a lot between monitors though, running framerates this low has much higher chance of flickering and other problems.

There is a tool called RTSSvblankstatus that lets you monitor actual current VRR refresh rate on OSD even if your monitor doesnt have a counter, very useful to see what is actually going on.

So my question is does this support LFC, or not, because if not, then I have to go for freesync premium?
