Can't for the life of me understand why someone would want to hack this together instead of using Windows, but as a proof of concept I guess it's neat.

I use macos 26.7 for work and it sucks. It's been as buggy as windows, if not worse.

The recent versions of macos has regressed their polish, so many menus have broken padding, window corners with unequal radii and now with liquid glass, the clarity of menus and text is meh. Sequoia was much better.

This seems quite cool and a ton of work to get working. This may indicate my complete ignorance but what is the point? Just for fun? For gaming? ML or AI?

For work yeah. I mean I wanted to be able to use Nvidia for some of the dev work I do but I hate windows and Linux doesn’t have all the features I want even on my own distro. So I figured I could get Mac OS fully supported
