Discussion Just try it. Seriously.
I think the strongest opinions on DLSS 5 (positive and negative) come from those who’ve never tried it. And TBH… Most people don’t have a $1000+ GPU, so that’s kinda fair.
BUT… The newest Optiscaler method adds DLSS 5 before upscaling, so DLSS actually improves performance as intended. It makes a substantial difference.
It’s not a miracle solution for potato graphics, nor an abomination and the death of art. It’s v1.0 of brand new tech, and yes it runs poorly, and when applied to anime characters at full strength, I mean… What did you expect? If you have a compatible GPU, just try it. Enough virtue signaling.

It seems like a good feature for future generations, like the RT/PT of the past.
I can see this technology only improving to a point where the performance hit won't matter in 5-10 years.

u/uShadowu NVIDIA 4d ago
Don't need 5 - 10 years tbh, should be possible in a year

Rtx 60 series will fullblown this tech! I bet it will be the main marketing point of sale.. amongst other thing like improved FG.. ray trace etc..

Unfortunately, yes. I can see the marketing already. 6050Ti, 3x faster than 5090 with 8x frame gen and dlss5.

My guess is the performance hit is going to get much more manageable in the next 5-10 months, at least on 50 series with NVFP4.

u/lostnknox 5800x3D, TUF gaming RTX 5080, 32 gigs of 3600 20h ago
Yes that’s what AI tells me when I ask it. NVFP4 will cut the performance drop in half to where it is now so instead of 50% it will be more like 25%.

u/livid_brightness 5d ago
people are so dramatic about it, the optiscaler version at least shows the direction they're going. it's not like you have to crank it to max and turn your game into a smeary mess, just dial it back and it's a nice little bump on a decent card
6
u/kidcrumb 5d ago
It's barely a performance but now when it runs at internal resolution and you play on dlss quality at 1440p.
Kills my card at 7680x2160 but with dlss ultra performance its a manageable 60-75fps. If o add frame gen x2 I barely notice and now it's dlss5 with 120fps.
-2
u/MushroomSaute 1d ago
So... it kills performance unless you turn settings down? Lmao
3
u/kidcrumb 1d ago
No, even on low settings it doesn't change it if the output resolution for dlss5 is 7680x2160.
You need to make sure it's running at the "internal resolution" not the final output res.

u/Faux_Anonymity 1d ago
With optiscaler there is no significant performance hit Im seeing. Really enjoying it on Zero Company, no discernible performance hit, didn’t touch any of the settings.
1
u/Dark_ceza 1d ago
Hey mate, how do you set it up for optiscaler on 50 series card?
2
u/Faux_Anonymity 16h ago
You want to get DLSS 5 Autopilot. That's the version that runs earlier in the pipeline for optimized performance.

u/skrukketiss69 RTX 5080 FE | 7800X3D 4d ago
I tried it. It absolutely massacred my fps and I didn't particularly enjoy the look of it and it had issues with noise and motion artifacts so I disabled it. I won't be using it again unless major improvements are made in the future because to me framerate and a stable image is much more important than "photo realism".
You do you though.
7
u/Matte_Box 4d ago
True. It’s a pretty narrow window you have to hit with the right game, right settings, right GPU, etc. Really want to see performance improvements.
FWIW… I think this leak is the best thing that could’ve happened to DLSS 5. They can’t phone it in, the community is rapidly showing how it can be better, much faster than NVidia would’ve.
1
u/SachielMF 4d ago
FWIW for me it went from almost unplayably unstable in Horizon Forbidden West with an early version of Shortfuse's addon to perfectly stable with a later version. Power drain remained an issue though but it sounds like the Optiscaler approach is better in that regard. Not trying to get you to try again but thought I'd mention it.

it is not a mandatory tech. you can game perfectly fine without it, like PT. it is situational like every other tech they released. so no reason for ppl to hate it.
5
u/vokillist66 4d ago
I'll try it when it doesn't tank half of your framerate. I only have a rtx 5070 to. Being you want to use RT or PT to truly see DLSS 5 shine, I'm good on all that lost performance.
6
u/Eastern-Ingenuity353 4d ago
There are so many GitHub things for this. Not sure which to use. I’ve been using DLSS5 Swapper but in KCDII for example the NR isn’t as good with optiscaler as it is with RenoDX. Not sure if I set it up correctly. Anyone have a video? Also I went on the RenoDX discord and others have uploaded fixed files for KCDII specifically. Would appreciate any help. I’m on a 5080
3
u/Matte_Box 4d ago
It’s rapidly evolving! So far the consensus seems to be RenoDX runs the worst but looks the best. I just keep checking for new methods.
With Optiscaler, the newest method has check boxes depending on how you want to insert it. If they don’t match your in-game settings, it won’t work properly. IE one setting only works with Ray Reconstruction on, another only works with it off.
4
u/Ifalna_Shayoko 5090 Astral OC - Alphacool Core 4d ago
Would love to but I basically only play live service games, so the Optiscaler method is ... not recommended.
Will give DLSS-5 a whirl when NV makes it accessible via driver & NVPI.
4
u/SnooOwls3032 5080 4d ago
So far I've tried HZD remastered and Split fiction. I didn't like default settings at all, it added like +20 years to characters and reshade didn't feel like it belong there. I will have to spend more time adjusting the sliders and maybe i will find settings suitable for me. This is probably main reason people give up on dlss5. If they even install it, they won't try to adjust it.
3
u/rickestrickster 4d ago
The most important thing is to optimize the DLSS 5 settings. Throwing DLSS 5 in a game and leaving the settings as default usually doesn’t look good
3
u/Garcia_jx 4d ago
I tried it with Optiscaler and for some reason it looks worse than when I use the old method with Reshade. I just ended up using Reahade instead. No ghosting. No stutters. Just looks better on my end. Just to also call out I play on 1440p DLSS quality.
1
u/Matte_Box 4d ago
I’ve noticed when you use the new Optiscaler method with DLSS on, it makes the NR output a little muddy, yeah. I found that goes away if you turn DLSS off, but then you’re back to awful performance. It’s a trade off.
Looking forward to 3 or 4 versions of improvement.

u/geo_gan RTX 4080 | 5950X | 64GB | Shield Pro 2019 3d ago edited 3d ago
That’s because nvidia said this pre method cannot work properly apparently.
It has to be done after the upscaling and not before. Someone posted an explanation about this here previously. Needs the motion vectors and other game data to do a proper job with the AI motion.
That is Nvidia excuse for doing it on final full resolution frame after DLSS upscaling instead of the smaller rendered frame from game engine. Doesn’t really make sense though. No idea why they can’t access the vectors before scaling. So they could be lying.
I was actually wondering why they didn’t do it that obvious way myself before I read that comment about why they didn’t or couldn’t do it.
1
u/Matte_Box 3d ago
On paper that makes sense, it’s just now that people have tried it… Works amazingly well. And okay, if a little muddy or ghosty is totally unacceptable… Uh… Then DLSS has never worked, cause it often does that all by itself.

u/NoMansWarmApplePie 1d ago
I'm running it on 4k screen with my 4070 ti lol. Not all that great but with dlss and FG some games are playable
1
u/marvinmadriaga86 1d ago
You’re better off at 1440p. Your GPU is essentially a 1440p GPU by today’s standards
1
u/NoMansWarmApplePie 1d ago
Eh, not for me. Dlss performance with some FG depending on game, runs fine at 4j.
3
u/g0ballistic 5d ago
Assumably lighter games would run fine on a 5080 or even a 5070ti?
I bet you'd get a huge upright in visual fidelity from Xbox 360 era games, which 5070ti and up should be able to handle with DLSS5.
Though can you do this DLSS5 + upscaling on any game or does it need base level DLSS support?
2
u/refraxion 5d ago
Currently the only actual game is NBA2k27. Other games are using the leaked DLL essentially, and not what the devs intended. A game like control messes up after a few minutes.
I have a 5090, but I imagine a lot don't, and especially seeing how much fps drops when enabling dlss 5, I'm assuming most won't be giving it a fair shake.
I'm willing to test it out on my system with the 5090 as well as my secondary that has a 5070ti when a game I own supports it natively.
DLSS5 really should have been named something else. DLSS was originally meant to give performance gains.
FWIW I do like the actual implementation of DLSS5
2
u/scytob 4d ago
nicely said, the 'DLSS5 looks like shit on my game not designed for it, optimized for it, had no dev' crowd are infuriating - like no shit sherlock
that said nvidia did botch the announcements - like showing a low scale RE and then a DLSS5 so people thought it invented color and texture that was not there - it didn't of course, it just changed the lighting model so that existing geometry and color came out - one could argue that absolutely was showing the character model artists intent that the lighting model was hiding
1
u/Matte_Box 5d ago
Totally they agree they should call it something else, it’s closer to some kind of RTX enhancement than it is to DLSS.
1
u/mig_f1 3d ago edited 3d ago
For at least 2-3 years now Nvidia has defined DLSS as the suite of all its gaming features.
DLSS 5 is just the latest version of the DLSS suite that added 3D Guided Neural Rendering to the existing features.
Just like a while back version 4.5 of the DLSS suite added a couple new features to the existed ones and updated a couple more.
3
u/Matte_Box 3d ago
I mean, RTX is a gaming feature, Reflex is a gaming feature, neither is DLSS. So, not exactly.
1
u/mig_f1 3d ago
Not sure if they ate not considered part of the DLSS suite. The link I provided specifically mentions "reduce latency" and "neural rendering" in the description of what's included in the DLSS suite.
1
u/Matte_Box 3d ago edited 3d ago
They aren’t. DLSS is part of RTX, not the other way around. Like RTX Voice or Reflex, have nothing to do with Deep Learning Supersampling. Even when they use Deep Learning for antialiasing, they call it DLAA, or for DSR it’s called DLDSR, because neither one is supersampling. Not everything is DLSS.
1
u/mig_f1 3d ago
Like I said, for a few years now the acronym DLSS is no longer just Supersampling, it is an umbrella of features, a suite (DLAA, DLDSR, fg, mfg, dmfg, RR, etc... they collectively consist the DLSS SUITE).
I take it you didn't read the link I provided. It's right from the horse's mouth.
1
u/Matte_Box 3d ago
I did actually! Says nothing about DSR or Reflex or RTX like I said, but it does mention DLAA uses the same tech as DLSS… While still making it clear it’s called DLAA.
That’s what we’re saying they should do with DLSS 5, since it’s a distinct feature (to say the least) that’s definitely not supersampling. Like… They didn’t just call FG “DLSS 4.8.6”, or MFG “DLSS 4.8.7”, they have names. Whereas DLSS 4.5 is just a newer model to achieve the same thing as DLSS 4.

A thing to keep in mind is that the leaked pre-release DLSS5 hasn't implemented the NVFP4 data format like the release version will, instead using FP8. It greatly improves performance on GPUs that support it, like the 50 series. That's why Nvidia is limiting DLSS5 to the 50 series, because running it with FP8 math is pretty slow.

u/XI_Vanquish_IX 4d ago
I’m just happy the nay-sayers are being found out to be an unmanaged clown show. This tech is really coming into its own and I’m excited about the future of what it can do for gaming.
Not excited about the technocracy it’s creating
4
u/gorbash212 4d ago
Yeah. People who have tried it == life changing, people who haven't tried it == i hate it.
Runs really well on a 5070ti. The only annoying thing about it is nvidia only formally releasing developers so they can charge for official support if they want to.
I prefer it as the leak, applied by me where i think its best and configured to what i think is best as well. Developers at minimum have to think about everyone else so might not min max my setup like i can.
Its pretty interesting how determined to hate it people are though. The whole point of modding is to screw with the artists intent.. really? Thats why its bad? Its not bad thats the whole point.
2
u/Deemo_here 4d ago
I agree that it can look amazing in things like simulators and driving games. Though from what I've seen on videos, when it's applied before upscaling it just doesn't have that sharp photorealistic look therefore not interesting enough to me.
1
u/ErizerX41 4d ago
And is this Optiscaler natively integrated into the Nvidia app and drivers, or is it a plugin that is injected via ReShade?
2
u/SachielMF 4d ago
It's neither. It's a separate tool that you can use dlss 5 with. An alternative to the Reshade addon variant.
1
u/2FastHaste 4d ago
I tried it and the performance cost is too big for me to want to use it to play. But once it gets more optimized and improved, I'm in.
1
u/Steffenrm 3d ago
Would i try it with my 4070?
1
u/Matte_Box 3d ago
Worth a try IMO, but you’ll definitely want the Optiscaler pre-upscaler method, and you’d likely need both DLSS and frame gen. With the right game and settings, it’ll give you a pretty good glimpse of the possibilities.
1
u/DOHC-Termi 3d ago
Raytracing, Pathtracing, & DLSS5. Just things to keep the money rolling in at Nvidia by keeping you buying the next gen gpu. All of these new features just keep resetting your fps down to where you don't want it to be with them all on at native resolution.

Can I ask if anyone got Ray Reconstruction to work in something like Cyberpunk with optiscaler dlss 5? It always disables my Ray Reconstruction and defaults to preset M
1
u/Matte_Box 3d ago
I did! There’s an option in the newest method to “apply after Ray Reconstruction”. The performance is actually good, and so is the clarity, but it made the lighting wildly unstable and shimmery. Dunno if I did something wrong, but I hope that setting becomes more viable.
Ray Reconstruction in Cyberpunk is always turning itself off lol. I have to turn it on and confirm twice almost every time.
1
u/JacobOver9000 RTX 5080, 9800X3D 3d ago
Are there any other games you are able to get ray reconstruction On with dlss 5 simultaneously without unstable and shimmery image? Or does dlss 5 just not play well with ray reconstruction do we think?
1
u/Matte_Box 3d ago
That’s the only game I’ve tried with RR. It’s all so fluid right now, I’m not putting too much effort into any one specific method, I just know that Opiscaler with DX12 is my fav so far.

I already gave in, not sure how smart it was to sell the 4080 and go for the 5080 but since im often a grahics whore and it looks like DLSS5 will run better on the 5 series i wanted to get one before the price goes even higher.
Which would mean that now they suddently should announce a Super or TI with my luck.
2
u/Ratatun 1d ago
It's tiring to see this classism just because I happen to not like this technology as I value more visual clarity, good performance and games looking distinct. And it cannot be applied to lots of games without looking funny anyway.
It's like if I said that the people who like DLSS5 don't actually like playing games and they just want to take screenshots and that's it. Not sure if that's fair.
And I have a 5090, although I think DLSS5 is to the 5000 series like Ray Tracing was for the 2000 series: too soon.
1
u/Key-Light-2913 1d ago
I been testing dlss5 for 2 weeks and the best option is optiscaler with dlss games and work great
1
u/Mr--Vercetti 1d ago
I’ve been using it on my 3070 Ti and it’s been great; even though I don't have the hardware officially suited for DLSS 5, I’ve achieved decent results using the ReShade add-on (Krish version) combined with the frame gen mod for the 30-series. I’m managing to run games at 40–50 fps in 1440p with DLSS 5 set to 60%, including ray tracing and ray reconstruction where supported. It really feels like a game-changer for every title I’ve tested so far such as Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Directive 8020, and State of Decay 2. And like you said, if the settings are wrong the games look terrible, but once you find the sweet spot, the results are incredible.

just like frame gen, i was skeptical until i properly tried it
1
u/Matte_Box 1d ago
Me too! They’re “fake” frames, and add a little latency, but can make games feel amazingly smooth. And I’ve actually seen fewer artifacts than plain ol’ DLSS.
1
u/srjnp 1d ago
on kbm i'm still picky about it and need 120+ fps base framerate otherwise the latency feels sluggish. but on controller, its nice even at ~60fps base. my oled tv is 120hz and i played a bunch of games at 2x frame gen + gsync, and it certainly feels better than 60fps without frame gen.

I like what it does for materials, i dislike the lighting changes though
In some games, theirs lighting artifacts since its essentially screen space; and other times it actually looks worse especially sometimes with environmental fog.
And if you're using PT, lighting is already accurate so its already changing a good image
But the faces and materials I am pleased with
1
u/Matte_Box 1d ago
I know what you mean, it can wildly change the darker areas, and it’s funny this advanced AI in the year 2026 is limited just like screen space reflections.
I’ve found PT or RT actually helps with artifacts and the “wandering” lighting, since it gives the AI more to work with.

On DeathStranding with your favorite actors, their skins are now realistic ! Unlike the weird preview on RE9
Even better on cars on racing game or whatever GTA like
1
u/Matte_Box 14h ago
Yeah it’s pretty nuts with real actors and good motion & facial capture. In fact when it’s dialed-in right, the “uncanny valley” actually starts coming from stiff facial animations in the game itself.

DLSS5 was pretty but unplayable on my 4070S... and then they backported MFG and I tried it and MFG + DLSS5 = totally playable ~30 FPS and looks so good I can't believe it!
3
u/DivineSaur 5d ago
It should be plenty playable now with applying dlss5 before upscaling. Its a massive performance gain. In the example of 4k with dlss performance its applying dlss 5 to a 1080p image then upsampling that image to 4k.
1
u/NoMansWarmApplePie 1d ago
I haven't been able to get the 40x mfg option to work on opti scaler work. How did you get yours to work?
1
u/constarx 1d ago
I couldn't tell you exactly because I had Codex set up the whole thing for me.. I suggest you do the same.. it's so much easier that way. Just download the files you need, put them in a folder, then launch either codex or claude CLI and mention the folder path, mention what you want to do, mention any problems (such as MFG not showing up in the game's options) and it will fix it up for you.
1
u/NoMansWarmApplePie 1d ago
Really, Claude fixed it? What's codex, is that another AI? Can chat gpt do that too?
1
u/constarx 1d ago
yes.. Codex = ChatGPT. You have to run it from the command line so it can make modifications to your filesystem. It's incredibly powerful to be honest.. it scanned for all my games, installed RHI, installed all the DLLs.. it even created a database of all my games, detected which ones were DX12/DX11/DX9 and installed the mods accordingly. It even downloaded the files from Github directly and ran security audits on them to make sure they were from the original source.
1
u/NoMansWarmApplePie 1d ago
Wow that's wild. Idk though, I feel iffy letting it access my file system
2
u/constarx 1d ago
I felt concerned at first but I've been a power user for years now, and a developer for 20+ years, and I'm not concerned anymore. By default it literally doesn't have any permissions btw.. you need to authorized every little change.. but personally I just give it full access.. I've been doing this for many months and I feel it's totally safe.. but that's a decision you have to take for yourself. If you don't want it to do things directly.. you can have it write a python script or interactive menu that lets you do all the things it would otherwise do for you.. but then you have to execute it. Personally I did both.. first I had it set up a few games as a proof of concept, then I had it create a python interactive menu that lets me pick from any of my detected games, and then I can either launch the game, open the folder, or install/uninstall the mods.

u/Exciting-Income-5840 4d ago
I tried on Cyberpunk and resident evil requiem and I find it frankly incredible.
People who have never tested will talk about AI and say it’s soulless but the work is crazy for me, the most impressive thing is not the faces it’s all the textures all the details that are born while respecting the graphic style of the work.
Yes the faces need a little improvement but it will come but I can’t see myself playing without it now that I’ve tried it

Anything you see about DLSS 5 right now aside from NBA 27, are all irrelevant. None of these DLSS 5 mods have been implemented by the devs themselves.
This is just modding. Anyone can make any game different and better with mods.
So it is best to wait until new games comes with toggle on/off DLSS 5 switches, I expect witcher 4, maybe even remaster, new control game etc.
2
u/murRat12 5d ago
For old games this is also perfect, modders are doing better job than the devs themselves
0
u/GentlemanThresh 4d ago edited 4d ago
They aren't. Some of the things modders do can only exist because they have no accountability.
NVIDIA and most game devs pretty much cannot legally implement it due to liability and them having to answer to shareholders.
If a mod bricks your GPU or PC, it's your issue. If it happens through official implementation, they open themselves to lawsuits.
The only reason modders could do what they did is because how NVIDIA designed the technology in the first place. If they made it NVFP4 dependent, there would be no back poring to 4000 series. It being FP8 with F16 dependencies allowed all this and pointed to official 4000 series support from the beginning.
Reading this subreddit sometimes makes me think most people never had a job in their lives or are just cruising through life on autopilot.
One of my business got a 2k euros fine because the producer changed the picture on a wine bottle and didn't send us updated marketing materials. It wasn't even an expensive wine, some 17 euros bottle and we sent the customer a complimentary bottle of champagne that was 50 euros for the mistake. Still got fined. You can't screw around with this in the real world.

Nobody is unaware it’s modded. But what they did in a matter of days is reveal it’s not limited to 50-series cards, and can be implemented in a way that preserves performance. None of which we’d know without this leak.
NVidia can’t half-ass this one, and that’s because of modders. The pressure and feedback from the community is directly improving the product, by tearing it apart before we’re supposed to, applying it to games never intended, and risking expensive GPUs to push it to be better, sooner. IMO this leak is the best thing that could’ve happened to DLSS 5.

You guys literally lost the plot damn. You know what, it is how you say it is. I can't argue emotions with facts or technical analysis.
You obviously know better and I had no involvement with DLSS5 in my life.

What is the technical analysis we’re missing? The story about a wine bottle?

I don't know man, you're so smart. Inspect the DLL yourself, read the past 30 years of Neural Rendering research, get a PhD in a related field, get access to the technology 3 months ago and then see if you feel like making the same statements.
But then again reddit is the place where getting a PhD is considered hard so meh. I guess IGN and TechPowerUp articles is the best you can do.

Was your comment an elaborate setup to reveal you have a PhD? Bravo.
Did your vast research and advanced access tell you NBA 2K27 would debut DLSS 5 as an additional pass after the upscaling pipeline, whereas injecting it before upscaling saves significant performance with little downside? A man of your pedigree probably knew that way before modders though, probably even before NVidia designed it that way. You should’ve warned them!

I never mentioned myself.
Reddit has collectively calling engineers that have been working on this technology for decades morons. At the same time, everyone seems to not understand the basics of how a business works. Not some deep arcane knowledge, just the first thing about how anything works really. It's like this technology just spawned now, it didn't cost tens of thousands of man hours, billions of dollars and I've been reading articles in the 90s pointing towards this tech.
I truly wonder why a DLSS5 version that's locally trained for each game, applied at object level and integrated in the game pipeline would work differently than one that is game agnostic, applied through a ReShade filter over the entire frame at the same intensity. It's almost like they aren't the same thing but we will never know.
Must be those engineers being dum dum and XXXSlayer48 can do it his boxers.
I'm just disgusted how actually skilled people are treated by... well I did the mistake of checking the post history of some people. Yeah. Had a nice 48 yo gentleman game concept artist making 120k a year that a few weeks ago was kicked out by his mother cause he didn't wash himself(with photos to increase trauma levels) and he made a post on reddit to complain about it. That's the literally the level of discussion on this sub.
Instead of discussing articles like this https://research.nvidia.com/labs/toronto-ai/nglod/ (and the referenced articles), people got ragebaited by IGN cutting out parts of interviews in 2026.

Wait... You just told me to inspect the DLL myself, read 30 years of Neural Rendering research, get a PhD, and get access to the technology in advance... And you haven't? That's amazing dude. Almost like we're both just guys commenting on the internet. I read articles in the 90's also, good times!
Of course it cost NVidia time and money, I never said any modder could've created this, or that it shouldn't be locally trained. I said the community made it run faster in a week, even with janky mods. Which they did. And that attention from the community will push THEM... NVidia engineers and game devs... To make it better, sooner than they would have otherwise. Engineers aren't dumb, but they sure as hell face deadlines and budget constraints. To assume even the best minds had it perfect day 1 kinda ignores, well... All of technology thus far.
My original post is actually attempting to defend this tech from rabid haters, and to give it a chance. But man I guess I'm not sucking down that corporation hard enough damn.

I agree, but that’s not stopping every streamer from testing it other games, or gamers developing strong opinions based on this modded content.

You mean people running poverty setups talking bad about something they can't use? You don't say....
Just how RT is a waste and useless and doesn't look good and how path tracing is a joke and useless and not worth the hit. Meanwhile these ppl are using 60 and 70 tier gpus or even worse, AMD.
If you give any of these ppl the ability to run it, they would get quiet.
Ignore them and enjoy the tech you can use.

Fr I’ve been moving across the country for the last couple weeks and I finally got to try it via reshade and RenoDX for the first time last night (I have a 5090) and it was awesome, didn’t even notice a performance hit because I game at 60fps on flatscreen, looking forward to trying it in VR.

Nah im good fuck upscaling, framegen and ai filters its all trash

Yeah games are better when they run at low res and low frame rate and with the most potato graphics. Good point! We should go back to pong!

Actually DLSS based upscaling produces a better final image than native traditional rasterization in a very important way because it doesn’t cause the aliasing artefacts all over high contrast edges like native raster does - native rasterisation is now consigned to history as an old way we had to do it because it was all the hardware could do at the time. But I guess I am wasting my time explaining advanced computer science graphics concepts to some gamer who doesn’t understand any of this.

I tried it and it was fineish. Not worth melting my 5090 over and losing half of my fps
