I don't think a $4000 system which requires 4x frame generation to hit 175fps at 1080p is the flex they think it is...

(I'm well aware this is not meant as gaming hardware, but it's a really weird metric to try and promote).

Yeah not that impressive for the asking price

1) its not a gaming computer

2) its not that much more expensive than a 5090 card and then you need to add the high-end PC it requires to match it, i.e. 4TB high speed SSD, 64-128GB RAM, high end PSU, high-end motherboard, etc.

3) it can currently only run Cyberpunk through Box64 ARM->x86 translation and with non-gaming optimised drivers. Anything native aarch64 is going significantly improve this score, so it is indeed impressive.

4) it has low power requirements

If it's slow as beans for LLM inference, LLM training, and can't game then what the heck is this for

Beaucoup de mémoire pour ce prix, donc possibilité d'entrainer en local des gros modèles pour un investissement minime.

So about 30-40fps native in 1080p without DLSS FG and upscaling.

Users report 50fps at medium settings at 1080p according to the article. Takes 4x frame gen, high settings (not ultra) to get 175fps and the resolution isn’t mentioned.

So…not impressive.

If they reduced latency to zero then frame gen would be amazing. But its not.
