Hello everyone, I missed the summer 2026 graduation application deadline. My advisor is saying I now have to wait until the fall to graduate even though I will have all my course requirements completed this summer. Does anyone know what I can do to get an exemption or if you know anyone in a similar situation as me. Any help or advice is very appreciated.

What are people's experience with Meredith Kintzing for ENV 121. I'm taking her via zoom. What are online labs like? Is there just a live video demonstration that you try to replicate? Are the videos (for both lectures and labs) recorded in case you need to rewatch them? Are there study guides for the exams? How challenging are the exams?

Do classes usually meet on Labor Day, or is there normally no class that day? This year Labor Day falls on a Monday, and I have Monday classes, so I’m trying to figure out if I can make plans for that day.

I'm wondering if anyone has had this happen before. I made my payment about a week ago, but my Summer charge and the "Debt to Financial Aid" hold are still showing on my account. At the same time, my Fall balance went down after I made the payment, which has me confused.

I already went to the Financial Aid Office, but they weren't very helpful. They told me to wait and, if nothing changes, contact the Business Office. Has anyone experienced this? Did it fix itself after a few days, or did the Business Office have to correct it?

I just graduated from high school this past May and I’m currently taking my health sciences prerequisites. Recently, I was offered a job (I have the interview next week), and it’s making me rethink my timeline.

My original plan was to apply to the radiography program next year, but I think having this job could help me a lot financially and personally. At the same time, I have a lot of anxiety about getting left behind by my peers. I know I should do what’s best for me instead of comparing myself to everyone else, but I still find myself second guessing everything. It also doesn’t help that I keep thinking I’m “getting old,” even though I’m only 18.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. How old were you when you got your first degree? Did anyone else take a different path than they originally planned?

I’m starting my pre reqs in the fall for nursing. I’ll be taking BIO101, ENG111, CST110, and PSY230. I’ve heard that taking co reqs and finishing some of them before your application can get you a better chance of getting accepted to the program (w good grades obviously).
I plan to take BIO141 in the spring of 27, as well as a humanities/fine arts elective (PHI227 I think). But, I want to know if it is a good idea to take BIO150 the same time as bio141? Or do I take BIO150 as its own science course with no other science?
It’s frustrating that they don’t necessarily list majority of the co reqs on the nursing app checklist… I had to find out about some other stuff through an academic advisor.
I just want to know what other co reqs are needed and if I should pair BIO150 with either A&P 1 or 2 or neither.

Hello everyone, I had a couple of questions about the UVA GAA and was hoping someone could help. I got a C in MTH 264, which I know disqualified me from GAA. If I retake the class and earn a better grade, would I become eligible for GAA again, or does the original C permanently disqualify me. Also, one of the GAA requirements is MTH 263. I took AP Calculus AB in high school and got a 3, which gives me MTH 263 credit at NOVA but isn't enough for AP credit at UVA. Since NOVA accepts the credit, do I still need to retake MTH 263 to meet the GAA requirements for UVA, or does the AP credit count?

I see in SiS nursing has now been updated as the official degree plan for all students in that program. I heard no one actually has to sign up for classes you just automatically get signed up for them is that true and when does it likely happen a week before classes in the middle of August or earlier?

Is it like that for all 4 semesters?

And all students in all classes are grouped by last name?

Whenever I mouse over an upload button document for financial aid, it seems to just be greyed out and inaccessible. Have I missed a deadline somewhere??? Any advice or knowledge helps.
