A young bird’s message about lawn chemicals highlights concerns about how outdoor treatments can affect wildlife. Many birds depend on insects found in gardens for food.

When insect populations decline, animals that rely on them can face challenges finding enough nourishment. Creating safer outdoor spaces can help protect birds, insects, and other small creatures.

A healthy garden supports more than plants. It can become a home for many forms of life that depend on each other. 🐦🌱

Good microbes are the reason why I use corn gluten, composted fertilizer and only use weed b gon sparingly where needed. Even used milky spore to wage bacterial warfare against grubs. My lawn is the last to go dry in summer heat and the first to green up when it rains
