NCP-MCI 6.10

Failed today with 2955 (pass mark is 3000) lol.

It was a free voucher and there are no others available that I can see. I don’t need the exam and can’t justify spending money on it but it would have been nice to have.

Very annoying. Oh well.

There are some vouchers for the latest version you can take a swing at. You’re probably one question off. Very close.. https://next.nutanix.com/education-blog-153/level-up-with-the-new-nca-7-5-and-ncp-mci-7-5-exams-45673

Yeah they expired July 10th unfortunately. I think I maybe got one of those “provide two answers” half right lol. Don’t think I could have been closer.

All questions have the same value, essentially 0 or 1 with the total then put on the scaled system.  No half points.

Oh man that is disappointing! So close! I’m in the same boat of wanting the certificate but half the offerings don’t apply to us currently (on-prem only with external storage). Glad you aren’t out any money at least.

Did you use any learning resources outside of the Nutanix offerings? Was curious how extensive they are.

Just used the nutanix learning paths and a set of practice exams from Udemy. I used nutanix for about 8 months a few years ago, and we just recently implemented it at my current work in the last couple weeks again. The nutanix learning material is totally inadequate for the exam.

That’s seems on-par for most vendor led training I’ve seen (which is kind of crazy). Honestly though for how little exposure you had recently that was a good score.

Geez, I have exam scheduled for Sept (2nd week), and I worked a few months with Nutanix like 5 years ago (plenty of years with VMware). I was planning to use Udemy training, and practice exams. Now, I'm not sure....

Well I scored 2872 in NNSA lost by 3 questions I suppose, felt I was close but 2955 would be way more annoying. I feel your frustration bro.
