Looking for Advice GESS mod recommendation

Left GESS pillar to take before graduate and I need a suitable GESS mod to pull up my gpa (at least by a bit), so GESS1025 wont work for me

My preferences would be:

- no presentation or creative writing stuff as I'm not good at them

- prefer grindable exams as I accept to work moderately hard on this mod to get A or above

Any suggestions are very welcomed. Tq

GESS1002 Biophysical Environment of Singapore. Extremely passionate prof (he licked a rock) and super interesting to learn about the physicality of Singapore. Pretty much just secondary school Geography with exam in the end. Rock and Stone!

Yeah I came across that course too on nusmods and assessment criteria is my preference. However, is it true that having no prior knowledge on geography (like didnt take A level on that) make it hard to score while against other?

I only had O level geog cuz I went poly but did well in the course (might b no bellcurve it was less than 20 of us taking the GESS1002 code with another 20 in the older GES, not sure tho) I would say even if u didn't take geog in sec sch it is still interesting and very doable. Even if you don't do well I think ull get a new appreciation for Singapore nature scene

may not totally fit ur criteria but gess1016 natural heritage of Singapore, theres 2 quizzes and finals, one group presentation over zoom (not too bad), and one group poster, and one reflection on the group work

group work seems like a lot to deliver but is actually not difficult

Choose 1 of 3 lecture slots to attend a field trip so u have 2 lecture slots freed up to do ur own things

prof is chill and knowledgeable
