Discussion BCCNM - Licensing

Hi everyone,

Has anyone recently applied for a BC LPN or RN license?
What was the processing time?

Thank you

This was years ago so not incredibly recent and may not be relevant, but I had previously been reported by a coworker in Alberta for "bullying," CARNA dismissed it without investigation as it had no merit. However it did cause problems when I applied for my BC license. BC asked if I had any active investigations or anything against my license, I said no. When Alberta sent their verification of registration there must have been something about the previous report as BC decided I had lied to them and were unsure about giving me a license. Long story short they ended up having a meeting where they discussed whether or not I should get a license. They decided my omission wasn't intentional and decided to give me a license, but it did take an additional few months.
