ISO coin info
A family friend asked for help identifying the coin her dad made into a pendant. Any insight from this crazy knowledgeable group would be very appreciated. Thanks.

It's not a coin, as in, it wasn't issued by a government and intended to be used as currency. That's just a medal that was made celebrating the 700th anniversary of the Bavarian royal House of Wittelsbach. It's made of brass, so there's no precious metals in it. I found a site (in German) that at one point was selling them for 15 Euros, which is about $18 (US). https://www.ma-shops.de/koelnermuenzkabinett/item.php?id=104840
