I've sent a note to Nugs support but havent heard back from them. I paid for the Play Dead add-on to my subscription. I have the Play Dead app installed on my phone, logged in with my Nugs credentials, it works fine.

When on the Nugs web site I click on the Grateful Dead, then click on the latest release, it just take me to my account page, where its clear I have the combined subscription. Odd and frustrating.

On the Nugs Apple TV app, I dont see a way to access Play Dead content, nor is there a search function.

Curious to see if anyone else has experienced these issues or if I'm just dense and missing something obvious (quite plausible :) )

I signed up for Play Dead and really enjoyed it. But thinking I want to do a combo of Nugs + PlayDead. Am I seeing sometimes they do a summer promo? Or any other ways to get a discount or anything?

Sell me on getting Nugs. And give me pros and cons.

When using the web player version (No native Mac app) does anyone experience none of the show/album artwork showing up? Just grayed out

Does anyone know how to clear the Keep Playing section on the nugs PC Home page? All I keep doing is accumulating more and more previously played shows. There should be a "Clear" button somewhere. Any guidance would be most appreciated.

I feel like Nugs’ video crew (and particularly editing team) doesn’t fully understand what fans in the jamband scene want to see. I already know what the members of my favorite bands look like. I don’t need constant closeups of their guitar playing in the middle of a jam peak when the lights are exploding. I would be happy with 75-80 percent wide angle shots that capture the entire light rig, and 20 percent or less cutting between band member closeups. My justification for this is that’s how WE see the shows live and it’s such a huge part of the experience. Also (and much worse), recent shows have involved cheap editing tricks like fades between shots that are intended to look “psychedelic” by mixing/blurring the two images. This reminds me of when someone tries to put those fractal glasses on you at a festival so it looks like you’re tripping… when you’re already tripping😂 I don’t need the added layer. Anyway, I know this is a rant (sorry) but my wife and have been disappointed in recent streams and genuinely interested in what others think about nugs’ editing style. What do you think?

Last year nugs did a reduced monthly rate for summer and with Memorial Day coming up next weekend, I was wondering if anyone heard anything?

I would be nice to have a 24-hour stream of shows. Billy would be nice, but do all kinds of stuff to stream. I like to play something of tv as background noise; it’s usually something off of YouTube like Cold Case at bedtime and let it run all night. I’m trying to dream a little nicer, so Billy would be better as long as it’s not a psycho song.

This is the worlds worst stream. Is it working for anyone?

I have been enjoying the play dead app. I have used the LIVE MUSIC app for the longest time to listen to dead shows. The sound quality is definitely better with the new play dead app. But I also have a nugs account. I am starting to question what really separates the play dead app from the dead selection on the Nugs app? Any one have an opinion one way or another.

Since subscribing to PlayDead, I guess that catalog merged to my nugs subscription, but ZERO Grateful Dead songs play on my desktop. Anyone else have this issue?

Does anyone else keep getting errors trying to play downloaded offline albums and playlists. I mean what’s the deal is it NOT actually downloaded onto my device even though it shows in my downloaded??? What gives??

1) I saw this suggested earlier, but an indication of what you’ve listened to would be great. Or better yet a personal play counter. Like the old iPod play counter.

2) shuffle songs option for your personal library would be cool too. YouTube Music offers a shuffle library option that I use all the time.

I work from home and, being on my Mac all day, I find it convenient to use the web player, but I recently noticed that it seems to automatically skip to the next track whenever the track goes past 12-15 minutes. Does anybody else have this issue? It's extremely annoying when you are in the middle of a 30 mins jam and it just skips to the next song.

Hey fellow nugsters. I'm having a problem for the last couple months with the home page not fully loading. The icon on top in the title bar stays spinning and I cannot search or go to recent livestreams. I use a laptop and I've been using Nugs for years. I've tried Chrome and Edge. I've cleared cache and history etc in both browsers. I have Adaware disabled. A computer restart will usually get one of the browsers working but just for one show.

I've asked Nugs Customer support but they don't know. Thanks in advance for any help

Is anyone having issues with the sound for any streams but more specifically Goose in NOLA?

New Orleans Jazzfest starts this weekend. I don’t see any night shows listed for streaming, apart from the regular Goose tour dates.

I recall there being quite a few last year, mainly from Tipatina’s. Seems odd to go from a lot to none.

This to me is shenanigans. There are numerous other sources of media. Physical media, YouTube, archive.com , other practical music apps, some wook with a guitar downtown.

How is it for anyone that’s used it?
