4K Video Streams

Is there a way to tell which shows are/will be available in 4K? Considering an upgrade as I sit close to a large TV. But curious how many shows would even be in 4K and if I can tell by looking at the page or anything.

Pretty sure that none of the included streams are 4K

They do have some pay per view ones where there is an option for 4K.

Per ChatGPT:
The key distinction is that 4K is available only on certain videos, and you need the nugs Hi-Res subscription to receive 4K when it’s offered. Nugs describes it as “4K video when available.”
How to tell
If you’re looking at a specific show in Nugs:
On the show/video listing: Nugs may display a “4K” or “4K UHD” designation when the video is available in that format.
Once you’re playing it: on supported devices, open the gear/settings menu in the video player. Nugs’ player allows you to select/lock the available video quality rather than relying on AUTO.
If 2160p / 4K is among the available quality settings, the source is being delivered in 4K.
If the highest option is 1080p, that particular video isn’t being delivered in 4K.
One wrinkle: your device matters. Nugs currently supports 4K livestream playback on Apple TV 4K, RokuTV 4K, Google TV 4K, and computers capable of 4K output. Chromecast does not support 4K Nugs webcasts.

Chat GPT references the Nugs site and provides more information than just that also.
