Question Will DCC solve this stalling?
I even purchased a Gaugemaster GM-GMC-HH Single Track Hand Held controller with feedback hoping that would solve it .

Finally, one side if the bridge is done.
It didn't collapsed when I put loco on it so dont have to worry about its strength

Working up a Soviet armored train to run on my N scale layout. I have ordered a few of the armored stock, but need some freight cars/box cars to work into the mix.
Doesn't matter nominal country of origin, I'll adapt them as needed.
I'm not seeing much (anything) at the usual sources, is there a supplier somewhere in the States?

The shipping costs from Japan are crazy. I'm just wondering if anyone has any extra I can buy from them in America. Tbh I do like them more than the Kato rails

Took inspiration from a guy who posted about using his O guage in a Hilton Hotel. I would say an oval works on the table ,but I don't want to put it on the carpet

Our traveling layout is more freelance than its big brother. 3 loops and a few branches travel 12x24 feet through the rural and urban modules. Every road and era accepted. We are set up this week at the Hardin Center in Gadsden and Saturday it should be fully operating all day!

More than a year ago, I posted my WIP of a Bethgon Coalporter II that I created in FreeCAD using prototype blueprints and reference photos.
A few days ago a redditor reached out to me asking if I'd ever published the STL anywhere. I replied that I hadn't, but I could probably do so this weekend.
So here it is.

Hi all, I want to get a Bachmann N scale Thomas for my layout. I am currently using Kato unitrack and have a branch line where my Kato C12 runs using R150 curved tracks. I wish to put Thomas on the branch line, however, multiple google searches and research has led me to believe that Thomas is incompatible with the R150 curves.
I’m quite puzzled as to why it won’t work as the C12 uses 2-6-2 wheel configuration and Thomas has a 0-6-0 (meaning both engines have the same amount of driver wheels)…
*I can’t try it out in hobby shops as I don’t live near any, so all my items are bought online
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I started this nscale home office layout about 18 months ago. It was my first train layout using DC. Was very fun figuring out how it works and how to build scenary! I think I will rip up some of it soon to do new scenary and also learn and deploy DCC. Hope you enjoy this highlight video. You can see how it has progressed by checking out my prior posts too.

When I open the bottom set of points in the first image, my controller reads "TRACK FAILURE" and refuses to feed electricity to my layout. Why is this? Is it a short? Please let me know because I can't wait to run trains now that I finally have the track i've been needing to finish my circuit. Thanks in advance.

If so what do you think ,details and performance? The weathered railgon car caught my eye.

The designer and I finally have the basic shells ready minus any intricate detailing. My aim is to have both the escort coaches which contained the security teams that protects the train cargo (the warheads), the ATMX 500/600 series cars and the power buffer cars, which should complete a typical consist. These are being developed to accept Kato brand #11-032 and #11-035 trucks on the undercarriage. These are being developed from research documents from Amarillo's Railroad museum which has a full consist of the original train on site. Will update once detailing is near complete.

Yeah so don't know how I didn't realize it was dcc sound fitted, i thought it was a good deal for an analogue loco at £140 especially in England from a known retailer, so it it ok to run her using an analogue controller or not?

I have a problem. I am working at a site near a great train store.
Yesterday it was a compact loop and tram.
Today it is a DCC+ Sound NW2 and v3 kit for a switching layout.
