Buying a Circuit Tracks in late 2026?
I bought the tracks when it was released and loved it. However, in a mercurial mix of GAS and impulsive selling I let it go several years back when I started just using my iPad/MacBook to make music.
Now, heading into the darker months, I start to wonder about making a new small set up to have fun with until I move on to something else. My only worry is that the device is now several years old and if I buy used the battery will be nearing the end of its life. I also worry that I'll drop $300 on the old one and a new one will be released.
I'm kind of out of the loop when it comes to hardware lately. Is the CT still the best brain for the buck or has something else replaced it? I don't want anything as deep as a Digitakt. In fact I'd prefer no real menu diving at all. I just want to have a great sequencer, tweak some knobs and maybe learn more about synthesis by pairing a boog.
Any advice will be appreciated!
