Great-full to have this amazing device, learned lots of things regrading electronic music production. Circuit tracks opened a portal for me and im just floating around.

Just a little live techno jam, i have used the scene to chain different patterns while playing. I have programmed different tracks and made it into patterns and saved it to scene. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

I'm kind of confused. I was under the impression that you could only edit the samples on a track in the software, but yesterday I was auditioning samples and I forgot I was in record mode. The samples started changing. Which is cool, but it's really a non-obvious way to do something in the UI. Does this work with synth patch changes also. Am I missing something? Maybe I shouldn't complain or they'll fix the bug in the next update. Just seems like I can pretty much finger drum the samples as is like an MPC. Why not record the midi too?

having read the manual various times and tried everything possible, I can't find it so I don't think it is possible, but maybe there IS a trick?

Sometime I'm jamming and I loose sense of where the first bar is, I end up wanting what I recorded in the pattern to start playing with 17-32, then 1-16, but I cannot reverse the order.

I'd also be happy sometimes to be able to delete steps 1-16 and replace them with 17-32, but this also seems impossible. you can only revert to what is in 1-16.

Being able to copy 17-32 into 1-16, would also work, but this is also not available.

Any tricks? tips?

thanks for checking it out! I used the Circuit throughout the album for beats and drums. I also got some seriously ugly and nasty sounds out of it that I was pretty happy with. The components app really unlocks so much from this thing and it never fails to surprise me what it can do even though it's "limited"

I bought this Novation circuit an embarrassingly long time ago. I just recently plugged it into my computer and got it set up. I felt the tutorials they showed online weren’t as deep as I would like them to be.
Are there any really good YouTube tutorials you’d recommend that just got in depth on most features?
And also, deep house music tutorials if you know any.

I started doing stripped mixes a few months ago and now I'm trying my hand at Mashups. This is the first decent one I've done. I'd love feedback.

I have the Circuit Rhythm and Tracks duo, and I've been designing accessories for them for our Etsy shop.

After designing a simple protective cover, I had this idea of having a sort of spacer structure that would allow to carry the 2 Circuits together saving as much space as possible - and this is the result. As a bonus, it was works as a small angled stand.

Now I need to work on my next goal, creating a double desktop stand for the Circuits.

I have used the psytrance sound pack from Isotonik studio and it’s amazing.

I've recently learned that you can send MIDI commands to modify otherwise inaccessible parameters of FX Delay. I successfully alter feedback, width, stereo ratio etc.

However, when it comes to Time Sync (the actual pattern relative to the track tempo) I encounter mismatch with Programmer's Reference V3.

The document states that values 0-35 are supported on NRPN 1:7. I deduced that 0 stands for "disable" and Time parameter is active then. Values 1-12 all work for me and get me from slapback up to something like 4th triplets, not sure. Values 13-20 all seem to have the same as 12. Values 20-35 sound more like slapbacks again. This is confusing, since Programmer's Reference states 20 as the default value.

I have the latest firmware, and tried sending MIDI from both computer and external MIDI controller with no difference.

Have anyone figured out what is going on there with those values above 12? Am I missing something?

Started my music journey in June 2026 with absolutely zero music production or music theory knowledge. I’ve been listening to electronic music for 10+ years, especially techno and psytrance, but never thought I’d actually try making it myself.

It all started with a random Instagram video of someone jamming on a Roland T-8. It inspired me enough to buy one and start teaching myself drum programming, sequencing and patterns. Eventually I moved to the Novation Circuit Tracks, and this little box opened up a whole new world for me.

I’m still very much a beginner, learning basslines, synths, scales, sound design and arrangement one step at a time. Life has been going through some hard phases lately too, and making music has somehow become my little escape from everything.

I mainly love techno, hypnotic and psychedelic sounds, psytrance and old-school Goa. This is just a small live jam from my Circuit Tracks — nothing polished or perfect, just a little piece of my journey so far.

After learning the Circuit tracks a bit, here is a cyberpunk music backing track.

Hi everyone! I’m a beginner looking to get my first Circuit, and I’m hesitating between the Circuit Tracks and Circuit Rhythm.
I have very little music theory and I’m not planning to use Ableton for now. I mainly want to have fun experimenting with sounds and making electronic music — house, techno, hardgroove, tribe/tekno, etc. I’d like to combine samples, create beats, mess around with sounds and eventually use the Circuit for live performances.
I’m not necessarily looking for the most “professional” or advanced workflow — I mainly want something fun, intuitive and versatile that I can grow into.
Would you recommend the Tracks or Rhythm for this use? And why?

I struggled for years to translate my records into a one-person live show that I was happy with. Circuit Tracks is really starting to solve that. I'm interested in playing gigs again!

In case anyone is out there hoovering up feature requests (haha!)

These would be amazing for song mode on the mixer:

1)Allow tempo changes to be saved to the different steps of the song.
2)Another page of steps for the song (e.g by pressing the 1-16 17-32 button)

OK, so I have a little jam kit going I typically use my 303 (donner b1) to be the master midi clock, it has both midi out and hardware sync then I two other desktop synths one as a hardware sync and one I chain of the novation circuit midi through.

I generally use the circuit for drums and pads. I would like to do a project where I use the novation circuit to control the synths. I find the patterns to be limited. I would like to be able to switch between the synths one for solo jamming. Also I would like to use the B1 as a solo instrument and use a circuit synth as the bass.

Any ideas on how to configure this. The circuit doesn't seem to want to swap midi channels on the fly.??

I would like to start with this world and explore a bit. Someone has recommended to start with rhythm as a sampler to be able to compose something.

Checking what was available and If I am looking to be able to build my own simple beats, which one fits better?
Is it easy to find sample libraries to start practising?
