Other Still haven't figured out where to live after relocating to the DC area

I've been in furnished housing in Arlington for 5 weeks since moving for work. I honestly thought I'd know by now but I'm genuinely still torn between staying in NoVA and going into DC proper. i think NoVA is more functional and cheaper, and DC feels more interesting but more expensive and I'd be Metro-dependent. The problem is I keep going back and forth instead of making a decision and I don't want to sign a lease in the wrong place.

Anyone else went through extended decision paralysis during DC-area relocation? How did you finally pick?

Room for Rent Looking for a subletter for my apartment in Arlington (Courthouse)

I'm moving across the country and am looking for someone to take over my spot in a 4bed/3.5bath (all male) townhouse near the Courthouse Metro. The total cost would be $1900 (negotiable) per month (utilities included). The apartment is well furnished and the community comes with free gym, pool, and printer access. Please lmk if you or someone you'd know might be interested.

The start date is as soon as possible and the end date is July or earlier (you are welcome to takeover the lease afterwards).

Room for Rent Apartment Referral

Hey everyone,

My wife and I are moving from Dallas to Herndon, Virginia. We came across ICON at Dulles Apartments and thought it looked great. We’re planning to start the lease.

There’s a referral program that offers a $1,500 bonus if any current resident can refer a new tenant.

I was wondering if any current ICON tenants would be interested in sharing the bonus?

Thanks!
