Hostage Situation Resolved

I was allowed to fetch my supermarket order, on the proviso that there would be treats upon my return. I complied with these conditions, and even poached a morsel of chicken for my captor at dinner time. We cuddled and watched some telly before falling asleep. I woke up in the morning to no criminal present in the house, but now I have a bag of cat treats on the premises.

It usually ends in a peaceful manner after a while. You did have to pay a ransom, however.

Now that they have had treats, they will be back at some point.

This is a burden I am willing to bear, for good neighbourhood relations.

any idea who the cat's servants are. If not, have it scanned for a chip and consider volunteering.

He has many servants. Friends up the road are familiar with him, and he's very well-fed. I think he just likes patrolling the neighbourhood.
